You'll want to make sure you participate in EVERY challenge this month! Those that do are going to earn themselves a special reward!!!!!

Step 1: Hang Out
• Every day, complete Hang Out tasks to earn a free item and a token
• Optional bonus challenges will give you gems, too

Step 2: Participate in Challenges
• Enter on the first day of each challenge
• Each challenge has requirements that must be met before submitting
• Meet the optional criteria to earn a rating boost!
• You can leave and come back to your creation at any time before submitting - be sure to come back before the deadline to hit the button so you're eligible for voting! (No edits will be permitted after submitting. If you start an entry but don't submit it, your items will be returned to your inventory no more than 24 hours after the end of that challenge)
• One default room will be available for decorating and two default outfits to choose from, male or female, when dressing up the Yo
• To vote, come back on the second day of each challenge
• You'll earn gems for voting a minimum of five times, but you can keep voting past that if you wish
• Collect results on the third day of each challenge. Your star rating is calculated based on how other YoFans have voted
• Any rating boosts will be added to your voting score
• Prizes for these challenges may include gems, YoCash, or even silver tokens! (More about these in Step 3 below)
• At the end of the event, all items used for your submissions are yours to keep
• Items and rooms will be given at the end of each challenge
• Outfit slots can be claimed at the end of the event

Step 3: Get Rewards!
• Open event chests using your gems
• These chests contain existing in-store, as well as new Lunar New Year items.
• You'll receive one common item from the wooden chest, or one rare-or-better item from the mega chest
• To guarantee one brand new EJA2025 event exclusive item, take advantage of the magic chest! (These exclusive items are also available in the other two chests)
• Click on any unlocked item in the rewards tab to see the item name
• Silver tokens unlock even more cool prizes - your silver token progress can be seen at the top of the event pop-up
• You can trade YoCash for gems if you want to open more chests
• Check back frequently for updated daily deals and new tier deals!

NEW Feature For Events!
• Submission troubles got you down? Worry no more with the new Submission Confirmation pop-up!
• Once you've perfected your design and clicked "Submit", you'll be presented with a confirmation window
• Your completed room or outfit should appear in this pop-up


• If your completed design is showing and is correct, go ahead and click "Submit" to enter your design


• If your design is incorrect or not showing at all, clicking "Report Problem" will send all relevant information to our team for them to diagnose what may have happened
• This will help us fine-tune the submission process going forward to make the entire submission and voting experience better for everyone!


• Once the report has been automatically submitted, you can try to submit your design again, hopefully with a better outcome!
• The new Submission Confirmation applies to both Decor and Costume challenges!

• The Lunar New Year Event will run from January 1st at 18:00 UTC to 18:00 UTC on January 30th
• Each day begins at 2 pm ET.

Would you please consider making the purchase price of the "Magic Chest" an even number, please? You sell gems in sets of 50, so it should be divisible by 50, or at least 25. How about 225?

Giving us 5 free gems is annoying and makes it impossible to get a free item. Why be so cheap with the gems? If you want more people to enter, giving us 10 gems for free would be a little better, but 25 free per day would be much more encouraging.

Does anyone else agree or have a better idea? Please comment.

What am I missing?? What's so new about this, it's the same gem challenge we have been doing for years.

I'm reading it as just for this month but it would be great if it's going forward...

Great way to entice players who only do the outfit challenges to spend more coins/cash on deco to get to the 25 YC.

They are giving us 25 YC for completing all the challenges. It doesn't mean you need a 5.8. They are simply giving out 25 YC to everyone who does all the challenges for the month.

I kind of laughed at this, too. This was my first thought. Another experiment to get people to spend. But I usually do them all anyway, so Idk. I'll have to see if I even want any of the prizes and what we have to work with. If there's nothing I want to buy that I will use after the challenges and I don't want the prizes, I might opt out.

so you have to fill the bar on every challenge ? when 9 out of 10 things you put out are yc and as most of us dont get ads any more wheres all this extra cash coming from for us to buy all your yc items ?

I might have missed it, but I didn't see it saying you have to fill the bar. You just have to meet the requirements to enter, as per usual and enter all challenges in the event.

So um, exactly how do we get the 25 yocash? It says "Complete all 8 challenges. Get a 25 yocash reward" then it also says " The January gem event starts soon, and we're giving you the chance to win a guaranteed 25 yocash reward" Please explain this to me. What do we need to do in order to get the cash? Is it in the chest? or given when you have so many gems? Is it for everyone that does all the challenges? I don't understand

You get the cash for submitting an entry to ALL the challenges. So, at the end of the January challenge, if you've completed all the challenges (decor, clothing and voting), you get the cash. At least that's what I gathered. I don't know if the hangouts where you have to add people count.

I'm wondering if we need to get a score of 4.5 or more.
As I don't think those who just throw the minimum requirements in a room to get the 100 or so "entry" gems should qualify
Fair for those who consistently get a reasonable score for rooms or clothing but if you don't get any votes and get a score of 3.5 or under you shouldn't get a prize
and no every entry doesn't need YC items to get the bar filled I've got a 5.8 without a full bar

I'm sick of having to skip rubbish rooms with one napa bench and a dead tree every time I vote
