I think we may be talking about 2 different things. I'm talking about the gem item prizes , I just checked the post in the forum that shows all the prizes & there isn't a hooded cloak.Skippy (126799010) wrote:The hooded cloak,,,

ok, so then using that thought process, they should rerelease the retired themes & vaulted themesdianabanana (111036364) wrote:Lynn (13116850) wrote:Since no one else has commented I'm guess the players that come to the forum are ok with this. Oh well...
you guessed right. i'm okay with i, although i'm only 1 player. i've been getting items i don't have so it's cool with me. anyway there's asways somebody over in wishlist thAt will take duplicates or items i don't want.
Beatrice, they really aren't limited though. I alone have gotten several of the same floating island pieces, and the ENO2024 items used to be highly prized fetching hundreds of thousands of coins, if not millions, now I see the dolls popping up for 5000 coins. That crashed this market in the AH. Now don't get me wrong, the AH IS overinflated & yes, this backs it down a bit, but again, how is it ok to do this, yet not ok to rerelease the items that were retired &/or vaulted the same way in gem events? THAT is something I actually hope BVG considers doing. Think about the possibilities.... A "Flintstones" gem event rereleasing Snowville items, & OMG, the possibilities if they bring the HW2015 & HW2016 items back...Beetlejuice is there, Edward Scissorhands, Stranger things, the Addams family... all of these are really relevant right now & would satisfy the desire to do more movie themes, or the '08, '09 Spies items, the Steam punk items, all would be good for BVG & give the newer players a shot at these. In a time where a large number of players are calling for more content, this is the easiest fix. I personally don't care what was originally told to players when the items were retired. Most of those players don't even play anymore. If some players hoarded items, well, the reality is those items were largely coin items & only ranged between 500 & 1000 coins anyway.Beatrice (178761483) wrote:My opinion is different, and youre allowed to feel just as you do ---
i'm sorry, but I will say that it's limited - right? if that makes it any better for you.

So what if I bought something at an overinflated price because it was rare then and now it's not? I'd much rather that players who aren't rich af get a shot at some very nice things.
Me personally, as I don't really deco, I would also like to be able to to purchase the odds and ends that complete my outfits. Things I missed the first time around.
Also, there used to be so much more male content and we all know how hard it is to find quality male wearables these days.
Flexing rares is gauche and smacks of elitism. That's never a cute look.
