In the furniture store under Collectibles/Limited Time Items, there are five Christmas items I've never seen before, all five are called (preprod/####), except the Santa Sleigh is also named. They're regular 10 coins each and marked half off now. When I try to purchase any of those it just locks up my game after I click Purchase. Is this a new or known glitch?
I forget how to post screenshots on here, sorry.

I ran to see and I froze also and option to buy is greyed out..... ...Hopefully since it's the weekend we get an answer I don't have any of these

on the site that we can't mention it says
they're xm13
or Christmas 13
they look similar to the Christmas 13 items
like the Santa in a Hot Tub and this one

This has been going on for quite some time now! I had found quite a few items like that back in September and I had posted about it including screenshots of items I found with that (PREPROD) code in this thread! viewtopic.php?f=2&t=250531&p=5473063&hilit=wc2023#p5473063 You cannot buy any of those items with that (PREPROD) code, as the purchase will never complete!! Those items are coded like that due to the inventory testing!

I did some investigating in the stores and it turns out there are a lot more of these items in the stores that are affected by this added (PREPROD) code! There are a total of 67 items in the Furniture Store, 4 items in the YoDepot,18 items in the Clothing Store and 8 items in the Salon that all have that (PREPROD) code! Some of those items have theme codes and some don't! What a mess this is and it possibly relates to the past and current Inventory Testing!

Seems they are doing something with items that are no longer available.
When I search my invo for this it has no year attached to the name.
I put the item in my invo to see the name.

I thought perhaps holiday 10 theme from the Zynga years.. but I'm probably wrong.

I placed a few of them in a room and they started blinking in and out, so I took that as a bad sign and didn't attempt to buy. The Santa sleigh did not blink in and out, so I did click to buy it. It claimed to be making the purchase, but never moved past that, so I reloaded the game. Upon checking the log, I find I am the unwilling, proud owner of a new bollywood dancer, but no Santa sleigh.

thats not one its similar looking and has the same year code so looks like they were meant to come out at the same time but the ones that have PREPROD are different things
Everyone has that santa in a tub they were a free gift at one point
