OH that is odd isnt it --

I moved things around and even removed about a dozen free homes I decided not to complete --- And everything is where it should be.

(im having issues however with packet drops; you should do a speed test check and see. My service provider made some repairs and replaced my connectors etc -- it seemed to help)

i have no problems in yo mine is with moving my homes to a slot i want closer to the top so i dont have to scroll looking for it . i have never had any trouble with this since ive played the game 2009 .

I type the name of the home in the search bar, it's much quicker than scrolling.

there is a number on each house that you can manually change so you can change it from 40 to 4
I've done that before
sometimes it just easier to type in the name or year

when you've been playing a while the house count gets large

i dont post in here unless ive tried everything nor do i send in tickets, i need some help! dont you think i know that / Ive tried 100 times its not working , there is also a list you can pull down and arrange the order its not working either

Most of us ( vikings excluded ) on this forum can't actually get in your game and look at it neither can we help you ( unless its a viking answering ) we can only make suggestion

As i said above in my post I already sent in ticket and got nothing except clean your cache .

I have the same issue with the custom order of homes and am unable to move homes into different spots. When this first started to happen, back in 2022, I sent in a ticket. After many emails with a Viking trying to figure out what was wrong, it was determined that the issue was occurring on accounts that contain more than 1,000 homes, leaving players to be unable to customize their homes list. I was assured the development team was aware of the issue and was working on a fix, but the issue required an overhaul of the entire feature. I was also told that once the development team has been able to find a resolution for what is causing the Homes list not to customize for players with over 1,000 homes, a fix would be released for all players. I've been unable to move homes for 3 years, it is so annoying at times. ETA Cleaning your cache won't help.

ok....after reading all the comments, a couple of things here...There are a few things that occur in this game that are literally beyond BVG control because it IS just a programmed game. By that I mean,(and this one applies more to the old timers), it seems that the game programs were not written for some functions to work properly when overloaded. Let's take the 1000+ homes some are carrying as an example. Now no one is telling you to delete some homes, however, those who choose to keep that many, may just have to accept that with that decision comes the fact that you may not be able to change the order of them. It's no different than the freezing up that occurs when you land in a room that has too many pets or animations. Or the fact that you will load & move around slower if you carry a lot of inventory around with you. Will they ever have a system that can handle what you're asking? Maybe, but in the large scheme of things, this is likely not high on the fixes priority list. It WOULD be easier to reduce your number of homes, or in the other 2 examples, reduce the amount of animation or take some invo that you carry & place it in a room. Sometimes, it just is what it is. I had the same issues I pointed out, I worked around it by reducing my number of homes & storing anything I didn't need for the day until I needed them. I no longer have those issues. Now....the BIG reason I chose to comment, and my personal pet peeve.... the way some respond to others in this forum... while there are times that we all come to the forum to post because we are frustrated, when someone answers & makes suggestions, barking back at them only makes that person & others less likely to want to try & help. No one knew you had tried the things suggested as you didn't originally state it.

I appreciate your imput , but as i stated i dont come to the forums unless i have tried everything . on that note i have thought the same as you overload so the Vikings are looking into it . they were able to comfirm that it isn't working and are trying to come up with a solution. i have to many homes !

same for me ty for letting me know . it will be a while !!!! LOL Lets hope if it happens to more players they will find a fix

Good luck I've been asking for a search bar so it would make it easier to connect them and nothing.
