I thought I'd use the same background and the effort was highly unsuccessful.
My score = 4.3 with a full bonus meter. I did NOT get my gems. I guess I must have been downvoted

Ahhh Julie your look is beautifiul, I would have voted for it had I seen it. I love that background and face.

I am fairly certain we start low like 3.0 stars and get voted up slowly. The times I have started voting as soon as voting starts, I can see that we have about 3 or 3.5 stars. So that's where I get that idea from. Getting a 4.x range vote doesn't necessarily mean down voting though I suspect any non perfect score has had votes against it, that's just likely. The taste of voters is so variable, and/or there is the random voting as well. It probably is more likely that your entry was moved to a less viewed voting time. My scores go up and down as if my entries are sometimes seen during prime time and sometimes shoved at the low traffic voting time slots.

I hope your 5.8 made up for the gems lost this round. That sucks.

We also have 2 additional challenges to earn the additional 10 silver bars so it's likely most of us will make it.

Unfortunately, the scores are mostly pure luck and lottery, which is of course completely unfair!

5.8 5.02 +.78

This outfit is almost identical to the one I wore in the last challenge and I scored a 4.6 with a full bar - the bottom one is the 4.6 as it is hard to tell the difference lol. I will never figure out how they do the scoring.

Congrats, Julie, and to any other 5.8's! Everyone's look is very nice! I was happily surprised with my 5.0 (full bar) as I really struggled with this one due to my hair choice.
