I'm not pleased that gem challenges are being extended to 10 challenges/per month each month(apparently 2 bonus ones) it's enough as it is to deal with 8 of them. I believe it's taken the fun out of game for me and that we feel obligated to participate in these challenges. I have a busy life and each of these challenges takes a great amount of game time where I could spend on decorating my actual homes. I haven't been able to do that since the release of this feature and I'm quite frankly sick and tired of them. I would wish for them to completely be replaced with a another feature. I know I have the option to not participate at all but I feel like I would never be able to get some of these items in these gem events else where but please give us a break. Do not extend it past 8 CHALLENGES/month. I'm exhausted.

I agree and I did state that in the [ANNOUNCEMENT] Introducing Super Challenges! (May 2nd, 2025) viewtopic.php?f=2&t=253378&start=160

you don't have to do them
you can just leave that big red gem thing there on the corner and not do the entries, or you can do the hangouts for the prizes and not do the entries
you can vote and not enter , you don't have to do them at all

I do them as I enjoy it I enjoy seeing everyone's entries and I enjoy posting the good ones I find ,
sometimes tho I miss out on the major prize at the end by 10 points arrghh
so yeah an extra would have been good a couple times
I haven't done the 10th one this time as I didn't have the stuff , now if it had been Halloween or Xmas YEAH diff story
this time gems really tho you don't miss much by not doing the challenges it was rather disappointing

i thought extra entries meant extra time after them, but now that i know there isnt so no rest time inbetween events

Altering the calendar is a brave move -

it was a small change; but a shift none the less and for those of us that admit to being human LOL changes arent always welcomed.

They not only changed the pattern of play they fixed the rules so it even more greatly benefit them OVER the happiness of the players

So I'm not sure who is calling these shots but they dont have the best grasp of human nature to think that most of us will just quietly go with the flow without saying something about the increased demands that the special challenges brought with them.

If they feel that their idea of next month should come w/ a cash grab, it does make you wonder? I read older in store themes; that doesnt mean they still wont add a barrier that requires you to spend real money to pay - as such it would no longer be a free to play game. Correct?? doesnt that change the basic nature of the game?--if you cant take part in the only 'quest' the game has without spending cash (ad's and rewards ? I dont think provided enough free to meet any of the set out goals in the last to gem challenges, correct??)

ALL OF THE ABOVE!! I know we have the choice whether to participate or not, but once I figured out the events, now I hate missing any. However, it's just too exhausting. And, as mentioned, I spend so much time doing maintenance and events that I have no time or energy left for decorating all of my empty homes and spaces. I need to pull together my thoughts and send in some "official" feedback... including that challenge rooms need the layering fixed and a "save" button to use periodically while decorating. I lost my entire room and had to redo it, so I was not able to put in the details and refine it the way I wanted. I did participate, but I had a sad entry...
