Hey everyone,

I wanted to reach out here because I’ve hit a frustrating wall and thought maybe someone in the community might’ve experienced something similar or has some insight.

I’ve been trying to recover access to my main YoWorld account, which I’ve been locked out of since early 2021 due to no longer having access to the Facebook account it was originally linked to.

When YoWorld.com was launched, I migrated a different YoWorld account (from another old Facebook) using the same email address that had also been connected to my older main account — both as its support contact and as the email tied to the Facebook account it was originally created with.

Here’s where things get weird:

:arrow: During the migration process, my older (main) account actually briefly showed up as an option on the login screen, but I wasn’t able to access or migrate it.
:arrow: Since then, it no longer appears normally, but during certain technical outages, I sometimes get a message saying:

> "Hooray! We found 1 YoWorld account!"

This message doesn’t refer to the account I already migrated — it refers to the older one. But I still can’t access it, and there's no way to choose or switch accounts. It seems like it's there… just trapped behind something.

I’ve submitted several tickets about this, and a Viking kindly replied to one of my forum posts saying support is backed up but that I’d get a reply soon. However, I still haven’t heard anything — and in the meantime, I’m hoping maybe someone here has ideas or has been in a similar situation.

:idea: What I Think Might Be Happening:

I suspect that because I used the same email to migrate the second account, the system now only shows that one — and is blocking me from migrating the older one that used the same email in the past. Maybe the email is now "claimed" by the new account, and that’s why I can’t see or access the older one anymore.

:arrow: Has anyone else had two accounts tied to the same email (one already migrated), and been able to recover or migrate the second one?

:arrow: Has anyone seen the "Hooray! We found 1 YoWorld account!" message during outages — and been able to recover that hidden account?

:arrow: Has anyone who lost access to their Facebook account (and therefore their YoWorld account) managed to recover it through YoWorld.com, even if it was never migrated?

:arrow: Do you think deleting the already migrated account could potentially “free” the email address and let the older one be migrated instead?

-If so, how long does the deletion take?


:arrow: Is there any way to manually unlink or change the email on the migrated account to make space for the older one?

Mine is bit more straight forward, Im using a different email for my messages then I do for my account (I dont know, they humor us I guess lol)

so when we had the cloud flare outage ... it was showing two accounts as well, one that somehow become connected to the email I use for mail rather then the google I was using for social media (again, cuz they let us get by with it I guess -- I know there was a reason when I set it up but that escapes me now)

My old account is gone because there is no way to access the email connected to it, I no longer have the provider -- But it's empty anyway, nothing but random free gifts I'm sure -- before closing that facebook account I made sure to empty the account. So I can see no reason for them to try to dig it up
(closed because Zynga limited and I wanted to migrate my MySpace and they wanted us to only have one Facebook --- LOL it's ok)

I dont think that really helps you much -- I fear that if you lost access to Facebook and everything that 'was' connect to that Facebook deleted everything connected to the account?? meaning BVG cant access it????
I have no idea what magical wizard tools they have, but I know FB deletes records and games were connected to their 'records'.

You can only use one email address per account! I would suggest you add another letter, number or character to the Support Email address in the account you are currently using to access the game so that it's different from the email address in the account you are trying to gain access to, as they absolutely need to be different! This is easily done in the Settings Tab, then Account Settings in the game! Once you do that then you can try to access that other account or get assistance from BVG to access it, since you are unable to access it via FB!

I believe that the team can merge your accounts, but that would require another ticket or an email to [email protected]. unfortunately they are unable to trouble shoot from the forum.. hope this gets resolved for you quickly
