Hi. I've been playing Yo since Dec 30 2008. I have acquired a ton of collectibles as you can imagine. I've spent a small fortune but enjoyed the game. I used to be able to gift but the last few years my inventory won't load to do so. So I deleted a ton of items... and still no luck. I never had a computer, after phones got snart and I could play on them. Then.. I just my phone to play on. Yet when I asked for help they tell me I can only gift via computer .. never phones. Well that's how I used to gift. Anyway. I have many treasures that should not go to waste. I've been VIP forever so I have many unique items too. I would like to turn my account over to someone so all my items dont get wasted. Does anyone know of a way I can do that? I cannot turn over my Facebook account since Ive years of friends and family there.. and since I can't gift or trade.. is there any way I can turn over my YW acct. To someone else.. I'd like to do so as Im done playing since im told I cannot trade or gift.. them saying I was never able to is BS. Because i did. It only stopped when my inventory got so huge. So if anyone has a way I can turn over my account.. I will gladly turn over all my items to you. But I dont know how to transfer my account and cannot give my Facebook access info. Out. I'd hate to just close it and all that amazing collection or rates go to no one. Open for suggestions. Oh and I've been a VIP member too so many extra goodies. Contact me here or go leave a message in game at my home.. if you know a way and would like to acquire everything.

It would take a lot of use of a friends computer or library. My inventory is HUGE. I was wondering if there's a way I can turn over my account to someone without giving up my Facebook. Is it possible to give it up to someone via Yoworld app?

Listen i been playing this game since 2009 and seen so many people making threads saying there leaving and giveaway all there stuff and regret it. I would suggest keeping your items and houses and coins and yocash on your account because you never know what future will hold for you!

Sorry to hear you're feeling this way about the game, Starrei. I was away for years and have only been playing this past year. I hope you'll hold onto your items, coins, and cash just for those moments you may find yourself wanting to pop in. That's what I did, I would log on a time or two just to see what was going on. I am so glad I held onto my things, and I am sure I had no where near what you have. Plus, it can't hurt anything to just pause, and see how you feel down the road a bit. My apologies for not being able to answer your question.

I suggest taking a long break. One day in the future you might want to play again. I left in 2011 and returned in 2015.

In the end just like our real life possessions, it's just stuff. I don't think (although a Viking would have to confirm) that there is a way to turn your account over to someone else.

You just want to reduce your inventory? I would go to the library and rent a pc; ours checks them out --- that would give you the freedom to try to clear out items

you might even find that once you reduced your inventory that you enjoy playing again.

But I agree, dont remove the account or give your email away to someone - just hang in there, I was gone pretty much 10 yrs. life changes, leave options

it's a lovely idea, however - I cant be the only one with people leaving gifts they try to keep straight in their head vowing to return them when they return

I'm sorry to hear that you are wanting to leave the game. Please reconsider and wait for a bit before making a final decision because most players who delete their accounts later regret it. The library is a great idea! Mine lets you use a computer for several hours a day and that's how I play when mine is down or the power here goes out after a hurricane. You did say that some issues started when your inventory got to be huge so have you tried buying trailers or rooms and using them as storage? I had to do that at one point and it was so much easier to find things with them sorted by holiday or theme and loading took a lot less time. I wish you luck and love.

Have you thought about contacting BV and asking them if there's a way they can transfer it for you . Just a thought

I appreciate the advice to stay on and either take a break or use a computer at the library.. but 2 things
. Im shutting down my Facebook. And we can't play without one. And two. Our library only allows an hours use a day.. and I'd seriously have to go every day for years to get rid of my stuff. I have a laptop that I used in college and internet but to be online you need something like security before you can use it for internet .. right? IDK I can't remember why I never used it for yo. Im sure it's too outdated to even use.. tho looks new and only used for college notes. Anyway. Ty for the suggestions. I would like to give away old costumes etc.. pets... I've so much cool stuff in hundreds of homes. I wish they'd let our phones gift.. that's the best part of the game. Well and decorating and collecting. Anyway. I put a ticket in to see if I can give my account to someone... as im shutting down my Facebook on Sunday. And that's another reason I'm leaving. But have so many old items rare and valuable.. I really dont wanna just delete those. Maybe... hmm can we play on yoworld without a Facebook acct? If so.. maybe I can try to get to the library after work and gift at least the really old stuff. It is my understanding that you can play the web version without any connection to facebook at all .. maybe someone who knows can verify that.. I'm an 08 player as well and quit, giving all my stuff away.. it took a while for sure

As others have said, you really should just take a break and then decide. Once that stuff is gone it's gone. I can suggest you look into a kindle fire. I can play a little on my new ipad but have to turn the ipad vertically because for whatever reason it will NOT go into desktop mode for the game. However it will on my kindle fire and they aren't that expensive. I found moving stuff into storage made a huge difference in the speed of loading the game so you might consider doing that as well. Yes you can play it without a Facebook. Even though you delete your Facebook your data will stay there if you migrate your account to YoWorld.com.

Re the bit in bold - that used to be the case, however, it's definitely not the case now

You absolutely can play the game without a Facebook account and many do

I still have one, but I never play on Facebook - the only time I access the game there is when gifting and players have used an apt link associated with Facebook

Re giving your stuff away - my advice would be 'Please don't do it!!'

You might feel very differently in future to how you feel right now, and starting from scratch in this game isn't easy

sorry to hear you are leaving, i dont think you can bulk give away items, all you can do is give away you details which I wouldn't recommend doing.
If its a problem with not wanting facebook why not play on yoworld.com? its separate to your FB account and quick to migrate your details

I had someone on my friends list ask me for all my things when I was taking a break, when big viking reopened the game. The attitude BV had when people were asking for ways to earn coins, and they threw a huge fit. Only way to make more than a couple thousand playing for hours with limited mini games, was selling my inventory. That wasn't acceptable to me, so I took a break for around a year. And low and behold, when I came back, there was many ways to earn decent coins so you could actually buy things in the shops. But yeah, he asked me for everything, I said no, because I may come back and I don't want to have to start over. Thankfully he was cool about it.

Anyway, even on my computers, which are game computers, my inventory loads slow when gifting, so I'm not sure what to suggest in helping you gift better, aside from asking someone you know if you can borrow.
