Pet peeve here. The gem contest has windows that sticks out above everything else. WHY????????????????
No matter if you put something with a higher level of showing, it goes away after you save. WHY?????????? why even give us that option if it does not work? And most of all, why put windows 'high priority' layering and not removeable. I can't wait to see the rooms and how people got around them. Mine will probably look awful as I saw as it was saving that they pop out through everything. And don't get me start on the REFRESH or WEBSITE NOT RESPONDING thing. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I learned to put up with all of that but there is a limit as what someone can tolerate. :/

I just had to vent off because I was going to explode. YW, if you want us to buy furniture, clothes and houses will real money, at least make it worth. Make the game worth playing again. GRRRRRRR

I may or may not have been able to submit mine without a hideous layering issue. It took several tries. I am irked because I wanted to remove a couple of those windows and could not.

I put wall panels on top of those pesky baked on windows, but I don't think it worked on one of them . I don't remember that issue in prior contests, unless I've just fortunately forgotten.

Most curtains/drapes aren't even layering on top of them without fiddling with it!

(Edited to change 'some curtains' to 'most curtains' which may become 'all curtains' except that I don't feel like checking every one ever produced...)

I used 3 different items to layer over them in a way that didnt distract from the space ... after all, who leaves their bedroom windows uncovered??

could outdoor stuff layer over them? big open windows and put fountain and a shed? maybe? i dont like these items that make the space unchangeable they used to have them and they changed it why do it again did they forget

I was going to put wall tile on level 2 over them. But then everything I put in front of that would have to be on a higher level too. It is necessary to back out and save frequently, because there could be an unexpected refresh, and the layering doesn't save.. So I would have to layer it all over and over again. It would be a layering nightmare.
I'm not going to bother. I'll just leave the windows there and decorate despite them the best I can.

I covered mine up with wall tiles first but it is a pain I spent almost an hour and saved it because I was afraid it was going to make me refresh and when I went to finish I had to basically start over and put everything back because it didn't save it the way I had it.

well that didnt work, an npc i put in somehow disappeared then somehow reappeared just as i clicked submit and the layering looked like it reset wish i could redo it
