I submitted a minimum gem entry room.

These were my first five to make an effort at a nice room and be the better of their voting pair. I'm still looking but I thought I'd start with these.

yeah that flooring drives me nuts. they didn't create the tile so that it would actually tile properly.
the flooring isn't so bad if one uses the individual tiles and layers them so they line up.

I'm not sure if it was done on purpose or what but the floor and the windows really made this challenge a CHALLENGE so those who made an effort got a vote !

The right one has removed ALL the windows ... how did they do that ?

layering, if it worked, it can hide everything

Nice finds – thanks for sharing! I wonder what tile they used to match the darker wall for layering to cover the windows, or did they cover that whole wall with a different tile? It's hard to tell at that size...

Edit: I think they might have covered the shadowed wall with the Khaki Green Wall Tile TF2024; it's very close in color – a little more bluish – but close enough to not notice the change.

Thank you kindly beanmom for your support! I really appreciate it, since I don’t have hopeful expectations for favorable results. I just couldn’t “do” those floors and windows … I threw in whatever would stick to cover/disguise them and wound up with a penthouse/rooftop garden instead (though layering kept dumping the penthouse itself behind the trees) ... Got tired of fighting with the whole dang room…

This GE was surely ONE HOT MESS! Both decorating and voting were painful, so I applaud many folks who managed to work with and/or disguise those stoooooooopid baked in windows. I too, ran into those empty rooms a number of times (different avi names) … as well as those variations of that similar floor plan and some interior items per Missy Angel’s 2nd pic below her pairing, which are easy to spot. I’ve posted two similarities (below) …

I had an extremely rare opportunity to find Cosmo’s room in my 2nd voting pool, but sadly, it totally escaped my vote, for as I was fitting the window/pairs on my screen, my cursor activated the dang skip button, so Cosmo’s room zipped right on by, NEVER to be viewed again! PROOF once more that BVG INDEED “FIXES” voting pool viewership, content, and thus potential wins. How many times must we be bombarded by the same gemmer CRUD, on rinse & repeat ad nauseam, same player names/entries more than dozens of times? YET, those entries by familiar players/forumers, BVG codes them as “one hit wonders,” for rarely do they get centre stage encore visibility again. Despite my efforts to return to hopefully come across Cosmo’s entry once more ~ NOPE. NADA. Sorry, Cosmo! … Though I did vote for aYoZe’s in the bundle I collected below…

You guys found some beautiful rooms, many of which I haven't seen even with going in and out to vote many times.

with the rooms that have an avatar in them -- I had one as well but it was male

-- I dont remember but I dont think the name matched w/ person that was standing in the room and they too had the room windows covered.
