I'm terrioble terrybubble at maths
terrible :haha:

Has anyone ever done the math on how much it actually costs to open the 13th Piggy? :?:

I know the Piggy doesn’t need to be full to cash it in but then you don’t get the YoCash, so that feels like a bit of a waste. :wailing:

It gets more complicated because the Piggy can be filled by both coin purchases and free items (like the free homes and the 5 daily gems).
So the real question is: :?:
Do we want to know how much it costs to fill it completely, or just the minimum needed to open it?

To start things off, my first Piggy cost me $1.57 Australian to open. ( opening the Piggy also gets rid of the side adds BTW)
For comparison, a coffee from the local café for me costs $5.
Depending on your currency, your number will probably be a bit lower.

And one last thought — does anyone ever actually open the 13th Piggy (You don’t have to answer that one, just wondering.)

I would love to see someone who is really good at math do the percentages and tell us how much total yocash you have to spend to fill all of the banks. I did add up the total for another post and it would cost $57.87 USD to purchase all 13 banks. I know people do this as I've seen the last item in the auction house a few times, but always for amounts I can't afford! I was able to get all 13 just once. I was fortunate to have the money to do it at that time, and it was something I really wanted. I don't see it happening for me again in the foreseeable future, and certainly not for the cosmic items!!!

you don't need YC to fill them , any purchase fills them just YC fills faster

Also they don't have to be full to be opened. Of course you are getting a good deal on yocash but I never spend that much yocash. I just got the cape and will probably fill up a couple more but I also have my eye on the countdown clock and if I'm not spending fast enough, which seems likely since I"m not wild about the theme, I might go ahead and zip through them. It depends. Of course I could easily spend that much in the casino but I just don't want to LOL.

Now here is a WONDERFUL idea!!
And I for one cannot open 13 piggy banks buying 57.88 only of yocash.
for every 24.99 deal I buy, I am lucky to get ONE piggy bank filled.......what is your secret that gets you so many piggy banks with such a small amount of cash investsed. I see 2 maybe 3 piggy banks opening after spending 50 dollars worth of YoCash
You must have some really good secret..........would love for you to share what it is

To me your 57.88 is not a realistic number. That will not open 13 Piggy Banks for me.

After thinking about this for a while and trying to figure out how you came up with that 57.87 figure you calculated, I realized you have isolated the cost of opening the piggy banks themselves, but failed to add in the cost of buying the game cash itself you need to fill those Piggy banks we buy with even more of our dollars.
I believe you to be misleading players, and this is making me very sad.
Add to your calculation the cost of buying the cash to fill up the piggy banks before you post a total cost figure next time........your math, although correct for a piece of the cost, is not complete.

Just had to say that before I shut the game down for a long non spending break in this game.
I will not contribute to this kind of event.

I have not been playing for free all these years, I've been a supporter all along.......but this Collection Fiasco crosses a line for me.

This is the mistake some players are making :shh:

The piggy banks DO NOT need to be filled to be opened!!

You can click through and open every single one of them right now, for however much it costs to break them open

Obviously the idea is to get us to spend in order to maximise the amount of YC in each, however, it's not compulsory to do so!!!

I know of at least one player that has opened them without attempting to fill the bar .... they wanted the item so badly - I have never reached the 13th piggy in my normal play - and since BVG would not tell us if we could do this collection without opening cash offers ... Im skipping it completely and listing anything found at least half the current auction house price to sell at just a 100 coin more to buy out now .... hoping to reduce both the ah prices and to pass on something that others are seeking. - it's my good neighbor approach to play :)

You are the ray of sunshine in the storm this and activities like this causes.........It's acts like this, from people like you that bring hope back.
Your kind gesture has touched my heart.

This whole Cosmic collection event has turned my heart to stone.
It's stirred up an ugly feeding frenzy that is getting out of hand.
Thank you for your contribution to turning that around

I for one, am really appreciating you and applaud your gesture.
