I didn't come bearing pics, because nothing I saw seemed worthy & don't plan on spending the afternoon voting for more than 5 but I did notice that the obvious dump rooms with just the bare requirements were scoring high...

I only saw dump rooms --

most didnt even bother to create any sort of element of a story (i can assure you I didnt not do much lol )

- it will be a fun and wacky results show LOL

for those that took this to heart, I hope we get to see your images ........... I just didnt have it in me, the various disconnects

OMFG I was disappointed. I had high hopes, then I realized they added speakeasy to that horrible room. I was thinking it would be space mafia and a lot of cool scenes. Found a couple, but who thought it would be a good idea to use neon, rich, space, mafia and speakeasy as one theme with a dustbowl? I may have seen someone I know too

won't give away their name. I voted for whoever took time to actually decorate as always, these are just my favs. I sure hope others found something to share. I am kinda bummed. I was hoping for a lot of mafia vs aliens rooms.

A few I found that more (or less) fit the speakeasy part of that equation.

The bottom one seems to be outside the speakeasy, and the mafia and the aliens are interacting. I liked that there seems to be some sort of story going on, and it's like a snapshot just before something else big is just about to happen!

If anyone sees my room (yes I got excited for alien vs mobsters) I did not see the speakeasy part bwahahahahaha!

I saw the speakeasy part... and the neon part... and the bonus was all about space... so I went with more of a 'Star Wars Cantina' look. The aliens in that seemed like possible mobsters to me!

edit... I mean... what part of the Mafia theme went with neon? What part of 'neon' *screams* 'sophistication' and 'wealth'? Plus, a lot of the deep-space dystopia stuff is mostly distressed - not sleek, not sophisticated... most of it's more like space trash!

(and I didn't see your room so far...)

whats funny is I quite often put that blue box in my rooms ( they feature in my space tours ) and this time a LOT have it :devil:

... love it and love the weeping angels one as well

as for space mafia wasn't many that got it I KNOW I didn't :haha:

Loie thank you for the vote, as you can see I totally missed the speakeasy part hahahaha. I did not even participate in any of the other challenges this time, but space mafia sounded fun. If I had seen speakeasy, I would have done a version of my star wars cantina. Your room is perfect btw, you hit all the marks. You better get a 5.8 Loie. Freaking love it! :love:

I also saw a few really nice ones that were just gardens and such. If they were against the 200 gemmers this time i gave them a vote. If they were against someone who made a nice space mafia room though, the space mafia got the vote. I usually skip when good room vs good go against each other, but if only one follows description I give them the vote.
