Im not challenging you -- so please dont be offended by my question ----

With a theme like this; where there was no really strong out of the usual colors or themes - is it really important they create new?

I ask not to be rude, but as a player that has very little interest in those rooms - often making them sun rooms or nurseries or pool rooms -- but never a restroom and rarely a kitchen

I look at players designed bath rooms and kitchens - but when I try I feel like there is never enough to fill the room - and every kitchen I have done has included some sort of family room or coffee nook or something to help fill it out.

If they are just going to offer more of the same? .... I dont know, I have redone both bath and kitchen a few times in real life - i found materials are so limited and there is not a ton of creativity that goes into either space --- and boy I did try --- LOL

I would love to see concept photos and things we can offer BVG - so we can see more kitchen and bath items - that are new and fresh. ??? just an idea -- like a said, i'm not wanting to be in your face - I would love for you to share more about your process, ideas that might stimulated BVG to readd these items you are missing and maybe bring people like me along - because right now I never think about ever doing those spaces and I feel like I might be missing out??

I simply wish if they didn't plan on offering furniture for those rooms, they'd not include those rooms in the homes.

That is a do -able suggestion that cost them zero --- well made, just add them as bonus rooms and we can sort out our floor plans?

It would definitely end the posts about unfinished themes... The free homes work. We have arrows, if we wanted to add more rooms... TBH I usually take the free home & then wait to see what we get. This time I use teleport arrows & added a bedroom using the Living larger modular room and attached it to the New Money LR. It worked out I think... Image

I'd rather they not exclude those rooms even if they're not going to create decor for them. If I like a house enough to buy it, I want those rooms in there. I can use whatever to make kitchens and baths and never use one theme's decor exclusively to decorate. Even with the larger houses I still often buy modular rooms to attach so I have more rooms and can change the layout. If they cut 2 rooms out of the house, that's more YC I have to pay for the modular rooms on top of the cost of the house. Besides, those 2 rooms included can be used for whatever one wishes. They don't have to be bathrooms or kitchens. I don't think making the houses smaller is the answer.

not if you take the free house, then it's just the cost of the modular rooms...

The free house only has 2 rooms though. That would be a lot of modular rooms to add on. And they don't have building pieces that match the exteriors so if you want to make a backyard you have to get creative if you want any of the house to show. Fine if you want a smaller house, but most of my homes I tend to make very large and add several rooms on to them. And they are larger to begin with. I go big and like an upstairs hall, 2-3 bedrooms, 2 baths (one upstairs and one downstairs), a downstairs hall sometimes, an occasional basement, etc. I know not everyone decorates like that, though. But I feel like the houses have gotten smaller and the layouts worse over the last couple years. I can work with what they are doing now if I like the exteriors enough. I just don't want them to make the homes smaller. It depends what I'm making. A cafe or restaurant I don't need to be huge but enough rooms to have a dining room, a bar room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and an outdoor space for some to make a patio dining area. Again, this is just how I decorate and I know not everyone does. They should have more variations on the sizes of the houses so it can work for everyone, but that's tricky.

the free house is free ONE time , you can buy as many as you like for coins in the Realtor for I think 12K (approx)
and I have done that in the past just made a simple 4 room house connected with the free arrows we get from the free gems room
There wasn't a bathroom either but thats ok
but this time I was so in love with the gems peayadda items I bought the YC New Money house to me its no biggy to use Art Deco items that are in store to compliment the EJL2025 items I have , the actual theme meh but the outside is similar to art deco revival .
Only thing that kinda annoyed me is there are so few rooms its a YC house there should be more rooms in it , I don't care what they are called I can rename them call them room1, room2 ect if I want its the fact that its got less rooms than a house I can buy for coins or the same amount of YC for that matter.

A fancy outside area , no kitchen no bathroom isn't a problem for me as I can deco any room any way I want
All homes should go back to what they were doing before they were just labelled room1 , room2 ... too many complained about that too (( eye roll)) they can't win can they

Same. And I usually add the free house in with teleport arrows for extra rooms.

Unless I don't really like the theme, then just get the free one and save it for something else.

I agree. You get extra doors, windows, etc. and you can remake the rooms into whatever you want. I'd rather have the bigger house with lots of rooms. I do use modulars, but sometimes the dang teleport arrows don't work, can't be moved, or move when you don't want them to! Oh well. It's nice to have choices!! And I do like the bonus items that come with the cash venues...

I added the free house as a theater and then did the kitchen/dining room and bathroom with stuff I had. Not happy havng to do that but the theme ended. I always use the free room for extra rooms and add teleport arrows.

I'm not keen on there being no kitchen / bathroom furniture offered

It's actually quite sad going through old themes and seeing how much of everything we used to get to decorate with

The houses and their furn were distinct and different

How distinct and different are homes where you've had to use the same kitchen / bathroom furn over and over and over?

It gets very old, very quickly

People who don't want to decorate those rooms can easily dedicate them to something else and ignore the furn offerings

But it ought to be there for those of us that want it

Limiting / lessening options isn't the way to go, IMO
