I find that AH can be helpful if you hover your cursor over the "?". That will show you what players have been paying for things and the price it shows will change to reflect the most recent bids. The Trading section of the forums can be helpful to see what prices players are asking or willing to offer for certain items. I generally try those options and look at an online price guide before I buy to make a decision if the item is worth what someone is asking for the things that I want to buy. I hope this helps you![]()

I don't worry about paying too much or not getting as much as I could. It is a fact we could always pay less or get more for anything...if we have time and are patient. And sometimes I do have to take time - years for some items. Because I won't be robbed because someone sees their pixels as a gold mine. They can keep them.....and I'll keep my pile of coins.

I have sold some things in the Auction House like the starter 50s/retro furniture that I got when I started up a new account, & I've just been using the prices listed on the YoWorldDB site, but the starting bid price & the "sell now" price was lower than the price that was listed on the site. Too many things are being sold at such a high price, anyway, so I just thought I'd give other players a break lol. & what is the rate for YoCash?
But yeah, so far, from what I've searched on the forum, there hasn't been a reliable price guide for a while now, which really f!@#$%^ sucks :/ Vikings should really come up w/a price guide site, because of of the prices that I've seen are ridiculous. I guess it is nice that it gives people a chance to sell them at a price that they think is worth, but damn. Some people really do take advantage of that & sell them at such a high price lol. But yeah, hopefully Vikings will make a price guide site.

The logs are already in existence, and this dynamic report would simply calculate new averages each night based on log activity. It would only read back 1 year. It would take all sales for coins, and every night take a simple average of all the sales for that item in the last 365 days.
We'd be able to access it for a fee. And for a premium fee, we could see the detail transactions behind the averages to track pricing trends. They could monetize it as part of the in game map, and add it to the functionality at the bank. If they don't want to gunk up the game code, they could place it on it's own server and control access that way.
Obviously trades for items would be excluded. There's no way to know value when swapping items.
Wow, that's a heck of an ask. I'm not quite sure you understand the costs of an undertaking like that simply to make a small handful of players happy. And who exactly would "police" the site to make sure it wasn't being manipulated? Ya'll this is a game for the players, it was never intended to become a "business" for players. I suggest if that is what you believe you need to play the game, you design your own program that would create a spread sheet where you could analyze that data so that you know what to sell things for. It would need to be updated daily as prices change drastically from day to day. Or...you could just view it as a game, list your things at what you feel is a reasonable price in the AH & see what others are willing to pay that day.Derp (126579776) wrote:I've posted an in depth idea about the "price guide" Yo needs.
