Soooo.... excited that I just had to come out of hiding for a moment!

Today has been a strange day that has passed without much productivity for me offline or online. Online, everything from FB issues to the inability to log into Yo Forum consumed the morning. Fortunately for me, I finally was able to log in here and will hopefully have a little Yo time before going to bed.

The saving grace has been seeing the Hospital NPCs given life and make their presence known in my inventory! I've come out of solitude to express a sincere thank you to the Admin/Mods responsible for making this happen... on both my behalf and my husband's behalf.



I've been teasing my hubby about his enjoying being 'Doctor David' and running around Yo world 'on call'. His Yo Buddies have been amazing about the project and a few have become my friends. His coin runs became house calls when he was dressed as the Doctor. The conversations were hilarious. So seeing Doctor David was a joy for both of us. And having more medical NPCs in game is PERFECT. It was a precious unexpected gift and now we can bring a bit more closure to Ravenwood Hospital.

Our Ravenwood hospital project is complete for the most part. We will always add a few things here and there (to include shadows and lighting), but the original small Heroes Hospital (12 YoCash in Realtors) was expanded to include an Emergency entrance, ER Waiting Room, ER Surgery Waiting Room, the Surgery, General Admissions, General Admissions Waiting Room, Patient Wing with Exam Rooms and a Nursery, and 3 patient rooms (1 a VIP suite on the top floor). There is also a Lounge, Gift Shop, Cafeteria and a small Chapel.

While I am Yoing in a different way these days... I want to take a little time to finish creating and sharing the remaining 8 hospital Yos in the near future. Aside from 3 scientist wearing lab coats and a vet that we decided to add to the hospital as staff, there is only a blond nurse available... so now, there is a bit more authentic company. The plan for the remaining Yos is to have a male and female version of either a doctor or nurse for Asian culture, LatinX culture and mainstream culture... with the final 2 Yos being more colourful... one male and one female who work at a hospital where having pink or blue hair is totally normal.

At any rate... Having these Yos given life is making all the difference! Thank you again and I hope others can get a bit of use out of them for their hospitals and medical places! [/size]

Completing the hospital with David gave me the incentive I needed to continue on solo for a while. At the moment I'm slowly building up commercial places in my Yo World a little at a time when the mood strikes... a Town Hall, a Community Center, a School and a Police Station (with a visitor's area and a jail cell... where I actually lock myself away at times to watch videos if they happen to be working for me).

its so nice to see you posting again even if just for a short time i did really enjoy your comments you left on posts when doing avatar npc contests, you had only nice things to say about mine and others npc designs.

I appreciate your comment. Sometimes, I know that it's the seemingly small comments that can make a huge difference when someone is having a challenging day. And I truly love seeing what others share (in words or creativity... both the wondrous and the rough patches as these are all the things of life)... otherwise posts are dumping grounds where people don't truly hear and see each other outside of themselves and their own personal joy. Which is what makes this community wonderful for the most part. In my experiences, most people have been amazing to me in the Yo community. It's always fabulous to see people sharing of themselves and encouraging one another. So, I thank you sincerely for taking time to express these things to me. It means more than you know.

I've actually been to Ravenwood Hospital before and they treated me so well there. Much better than the random Yo Doctor I saw for a troublesome earache, his advice was to have my ear completely removed!!!! The well trained staff at Ravenwood assured me that was not necessary and prescribed me a course of antibiotic ear drops.

After PB went down my hospital was a mess but started to redeco it but gave up again due to being super busy, Hopefuly can carry on soon. But love your Ravenwood hospital

Thanks, Sis! I'm all for spreading joy. Albeit it be sometimes a little truth serum falls into the mix. But, the break was just what I needed. Letting go of some things and some people and holding on to that which lifts me up when I'm down, share their truth with me without judgment and allow me to do the same for them.
