What are people using for price guides for items? I'm just coming back to the game for the first time in a year and Yoworld Info seems to be down. I can't find any other websites online that are updated regularly or are still active. How do you guys check the prices of your items?

i never ever trusted price guides. i use the auction house average guide because that is the actual price yos are paying for items.

What do you do if the items you want to check aren't listed on the auction house? A lot of what I'm looking to get rid of isn't on there.

Same here - an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Your best bet is to make a "price check needed" thread in the trading section of the forum, and list what you have with photos. It might take several days to get a solid reply, sometimes even longer.

I recommend to take the time creating a thread in the trading section, and take a week or two looking at the Auction House and Events and study the market the best you can while you wait for an honest person to respond to your thread. Even the Auction house average is not trustworthy, people manipulate it all the time.

It really has come down to "just trust me bro" in 2025.

Hopefully that site will be back up soon. I don't use it for prices, but for item descriptions and to find things in game.

Hi Bri. The old stuff is tough to price. People will tell you low and hi prices depending on whether they are are trying to sell one or buy one. There's few prices gathered that come without strings.

My rule of thumb for selling my old stuff - figure out how much I want for it and set it there. Everyone who plays this game knows you can always get more......just as you can always get less. But finding that price that you can live with....that's the trick.

I don't worry if something could have gotten 500M. I got my 400M and I'm done. See how easy that was?

Yeah, it hasn't been responding for me either. I'm hoping it will be fixed after the weekend.

 BINGO

i wish people would stop thinking they need a price guide ... they are usually manipulated in favor of the site owners anyway and not really what its worth or selling for :silly:
those sites are good as a "reference " site for pics or names , but not for prices

You're not wrong and I do the same thing, but I think she was just asking if she could find out the rough value of some things which is step 1, you're talking about step 2 which is deciding if you want to min/max an item once you get a general idea of what something is worth.

Its not prices but what is "hot" and "trending"

at the moment coin prices are low if I list items for YC they'll sell
so say a hat from the newest theme will sell for 5-10YC but wont sell at all for 150-400k just sits there nothing no bids
and after two days nothing at all

As for older items list for YC if you want to sell and it also depends on what theme is current , I sold alice in wonderland costumes when we had the Whimsical theme for millions but if I listed them now they'll sit there without any bites at all . I'd been sitting on those costumes for YEARS

Its what players want that matters if everyone wants a paper bag and you've got one you can get a lot
If everyone wants plastic and you've only got paper you'll not sell at all

The answer to price help is "NO". I thought that was already communicated. I was just shortening my post by getting her to the helpful part.
