Not many people know or subscribe to the forums and these new items that were released, were never announced. It was only announced here in the forums. Please, consider ever citizen of Yo when doing future releases and announce them in the log in phase. Thanks for looking into this!!

No, I don't thinks so Kraze. Not everyone has the time to be in here looking up information or on any FB page for that matter. So I do think it's a good idea even if other don't!

It would still be great to see an announcement in game. There are people who don't use the forums.

When there's new content, there should be a one time pop up announcing it or a banner bar up top saying it - like when they're doing maintenance and there's a message up top.

Word of mouth usually takes care of those that don't log on and look for new things.
I see it all over my Facebook News Feed.
In Groups.
In Auctions.
Friends.

No one's really in the dark when it comes to new releases.

Just this afternoon I was at an event, many peeps there too, and not one of them new about the new releases! I became for a moment the YoNews!! LOL!! You would be surprised Deadly, how many people are in the dark on many things about this game!

We're working on a system to allow us to do proper in-game announcements about new content, features and other news. For now, the Facebook page and forum is the best way to find the latest info.

Thats what got me coming to the forum. Zynga re-released the GvE back in the store with no announcement or notice in game. Their answer to me was it was re-released at the request of the forum and that is was announced on the forum. Not the best way to get informed but c'est la vie.

In the past whenever there was a release of new items, we had that pop up when we logged into game and I think that an announcement is very necessary and we really shouldn't be chasing down info in the Forum or Community page to find out if there are new items available for sale. I know in other games by BVG they do announce new items on their page and when we log into the game. I think it will be the same here when we get new items in Store.

At least I hope so!

I joined the forum just for that reason...best way to get game information fast. This was the first place I looked whenever I encountered a problem. During the transition I counted on the forums to keep me up to date.

I think the release of the new Avenues was a "soft opening" ie to test the waters so BVG could see how the release went for various reasons. Well that is what I gathered.
