It seems we've been given the ability to delete our own posts. I just tried it and yah.

So nothing suspicious here.

I see an option to edit my post, but I don't see an option to delete this thread. Am I just missing it somewhere?

I deleted one of my post then there was a long thread with a lot of post I noticed disappeared as well. So I guess it happens.

ps
Its the little x beside the edit for post deletes. You have that on your own posts?

I guess if someone doesn't like the direction their thread is going, they can just delete it.

Yes, I can edit my post, but not yours........even though I started the thread. See? So how does a thread disappear? If I delete my original post will this whole thread disappear? Or can only a moderator delete the whole thread? That's what I want to know.

How do you delete a whole thread?

I assume admin deletes threads. They are still sneaky like old ninjas.

Great option. This is going to go a long way to prevent problems here. LOVE it. :)

You can't delete your own threads.

Nope, they are not sneaky at all...they just gave us the ability to delete our own threads and posts. Awesome! :D

Why do you think that? I seem to remember on the old forums, that people would insult others and generally cause mayhem, then delete their post. If I remember correctly, that is why it became necessary to take away the option to delete posts.

I guess you just click the x on your first post?

No you can't. Or there's a time period where it becomes impossible.

I have a thread over in Trading, there's no option available to delete it nor was there an option to delete a previous wtb thread I had over there after I bought the item.

Nope. Samberg is correct. After a certain time, the little "x" disappears and you can not delete your post. So, back to the original question ......how can a thread be deleted?

Interesting.
Maybe they ask for Viking assistance? I dunno...ask the Voodoo guy. Apparently he knows.

I just waited like 10 minutes and was able to delete a post, you waited like 30 seconds. It worked for me.
