I asked Purple Ninja for an interview, and she said yes! So here are the questions and answers. If you have anymore questions, post them here, and maybe i could ask! Please note: Question 1, and 8 were made before i knew the ninjas name. Please know all of this is just for the fun, and curiosity- so dont hate/

1. What ninja name did you go by?
Purple Ninja
2. Did you guys work at an office or home?
Worked from home
3. Do you have any regrets working for Zynga (Its okay if you dont answer this one)?
No regrets..
4. What was your favorite memory working with Zynga?
I loved showcasing the new items/clothing before releases and the flash mob events!
5. Do you play modern day YoWorld?
I play Yo when I have time!
6. If you could have changed one thing in YoVille, what would it have been?
I would have slowed down the release tempo and made sure the glitches were fixed.
7. Did you guys have any super cool abilities that normal players didn't have ingame?
No.. we had nothing special in game at all. Only the admin did.
8. How long in advance did you guys know that YoVille would be shutting down?
The US mods were laid off (outsourced) late December '12/early January '13. We were long gone when that happened
9. Did they take away your Purple Ninja hair?
The first year.. Green Ninja and I had special hairs. When they opened up the Salon they removed them all from our inventory. Other than that.. we had no special items/clothing/etc
10. Anything else you want to tell the yoworld community?
I miss working with the Yo team! I had a lot of fun and hope Yo does well w/ BVG!
EDIT TO ADD:
Did you ninjas get free stuff? People remember you having a huge inventory.
I still have a huge inventory. We were credited items from time to time so we could showcase them. One example was for YoSurvivor.

I completely disliked Purple Ninja. At first it was fine but then the favoritism turned nauseating. When paying and non-paying members were driven away from the forums in droves because of her and her cliques it should have been a warning to Zynga, but we all know they didn't care anyway.

As for playing, when she was on the FB page before the forums it was pointed out that she clearly doesn't play the game, so unless she's breaking FB's TOS, that's an out right lie.

So glad to see her and that mindset go. Glad to have Vikings that keep things tidy without the fanfare and disparaging players by creating a pecking order.
