It was their choice to put their coins down on items that were flaky as it is. To those who lost out, I honestly have no sympathy just because now, a few items can be bought legally. Really don't care. and I already had limes. So it's not like I'm "just happy to get it" lol. But hey thats just my perspective.

Amen to that. Tired of the victim complex some people have over pixels

Players won't be doing as many illegal transactions when it comes to white jeans, lime jeans etc because the items controversy is no longer there given that the items are now obtainable from the store. If anything I see this as one step towards correcting Zynga's wrongs. The fact zynga withheld the items inspired cheaters to achieve them and exploit them...

We all know that BVG is a company that sympathizes with every passionate player. They must have thought that releasing these items would bring joy to the newer players. I mean, millions of coins is not easy to be earned.

There are tons of traders who make a mint buying and selling legit items. Those who dabbled in unreleased items knew what they were doing and took the risk. This release is not even without precedent because Zynga did the same thing with the VIP jackets. If you fly too close to the sun, you could get burned.
