It's been a while since I felt safe buying anything from the Auction House.
With all the security changes now in place I decided to go for it to buy a gift for a friend!
And so I did....but I bought it 35 minutes ago and still don't have it in game.....
How long does it typically take to get an item delivered that you purchased using BUY IT NOW these dayz?
I'm clueless, and getting whiplash refreshing the game, ha ha ha

It's rare that I don't get it instantly. I just assumed it was a change that BVG had made with the wait time.

I always get them immediately.

But... last week I bought something (forget what it was) couldn't find it to save my life! Turns out it was under "Items" instead of whatever category it should have been under.
Gawd I confuse myself sometimes! lol

I am just sick about this!
I found my item! And it is a FAKE! I thought all the fakes were removed from the Auction house!!
This is the first fake in my inventory too! I am so upset. I spent millions on this item, and it was for a friend, now I can't give it to him.
How did they get it in the auction house, I thought that was not possible anymore!!!

How do I know I got a hacked crown?
Well they only appear in my change clothes function. Here are the two crowns

When I look in available alphabetically under Retro Luxury Crown, none show up, but I am only wearing ONE crown, there should be one showing available.

But looking at the In Use tab, 2 are showing IN USE.
no way, I can only wear one at a time!

I know what I need to do. I bought my crown to wear, and keep.
I bought the one in the auction house to gift.
I'll just keep the one from the auction house, since it's the fake, and give my friend the real one-the only one giftable.
So disappointed that we still have these scammers in game.....very sad indeed.
Who do these people think they are!? Oh yeah, the Yo-Rich! And they wonder why so many of us are not their fans. It's stunts like this that burns millions of coins from us is why I do not like the Yo-Rich. It's the actions of too many in game doing just this that taints the whole lot of you who play to be rich....no offense, but I don't like getting burned trying to do something nice for a friend.
I am not Yo rich, just Yo happy.
Much better place to be in this game, also much safer. You don't get your pocket picked!

Right away if you buy it out, but bidding takes forever. I managed to snag a Duty Belt for 800k earlier, and it took an hour for me to get it!

I wonder how someone got it to be fake? Maybe after a while it will show as non-refundable.

I'm happy enough with the outcome LooLYo.
I've got one to wear and now a good friend who loves the crown too has one to wear.

It would be nice if it righted itself...I'll keep a watch on it.
But I did not buy the crown for speculation...I don't buy for that reason, I buy what I like to wear it or decorate with it now or later.
I'm one of those Yo-Hoarders, LOL.

I think you might've misunderstood.

If you are wearing an item, but have multiples of it, they all show as "in use" when under your inventory. But if you try to trade them, it should work. If it doesn't, just take it off when you try to trade/gift and wear it back after you have given it to your friend.

I hope you reported this. If it were me, I would make a separate thread addressed to Gary, Greg, John and tell them what happened. Many of us buy stuff in the auction house and we need security. They will know who sold it and I hope bann their ----.

I was bidding this morning and lost in the last minute 00:01 arrrghh
I find if I buy outright its there straight away win a bid I have to refresh ..it ain't very often I win I suck at bidding

so GOOD for you !
