Ugh. Here i'll explain

Today I was feeling extra Generous and made an event that said" First 12 People get 25k "
About 30 people came so quickly that i couldnt lock doors. People were screaming that they were 2, 8, 12, 11, 1, over and over. And every single number had at least 2 different people saying it. Some people even switched numbers!!!! I gave a few people 25k, I'm almost broke now since I gave too much out , more than 12 people. I know for sure i'm not doing this again. Why can't people just be honest. Like in the title You just can't do anything nice anymore. People just ruin it. :roll:

You'd be better off to go to a new persons sale and help them out. I take take the greedy people. It drives me nuts lol
That was a nice thought though

but sad they all acted like that.

I give but I would never take on a situation like that. It is impossible. The greed in the game is overpowering. People hear the word free and they lose all reason.

Exactly. I've been to one of these events, and im telling you 100 people came, and it was first 12 people, I just left, I wasn't top 12 anyway. Everyone was just spamming the chat with numbers, ugh its fake money

Next time, just go find 12 people on your own, that way you directly gift the people you want, and you can skip out before others start ruining it for you.

Good idea. I am also looking for the piano for Veronica. I am shocked I didn't buy it. I usually buy them all.

Doing something like that just sets yourself up for stress you didn't intend to have.
Next time just go hang out at a few places or events. Sometimes I buy things at
cheap sales and hang out for a while. I talk to all the players that are there. I ask them
what they like about the game, see if they are saving up for a special item. Sometimes
it's the person having the sale or someone at the sale that I decide to surprise with
a gift of cash or an item they want.

You were wanting to do something nice which is to be commended. Don't forget how
it feels to give if you have the means to do so. Just don't set yourself up for an ugly,
stressful situation. You can hang out in the clothing store too and just listen to people
talk or ask someone what items they are buying or like. You can judge for yourself whom
to wish to give your money or your good hearted gifts.

It makes life simpler.

Kudoz for having a giving heart. Don't give up on people.

I've met a BUNCH of really awesome people that way. And they always really appreciate the
monetary gifts.

You may feel more fulfilled that way.

Yeah I thought I had it, because I play piano IRL so i tend to buy most of them. But I think i was out innawoods during that release.

Oh lawwdy as soon as you started explaining I knew where this was going. I did an event once, free stuff as I had all this furniture I didn't want anymore. It was a mess people screaming, ones who had already gotten things wanted more. The ones I didn't get to yet (i'm only one person) were calling me a scammer. NEVER again, I would rather delete the stuff than do that again.

The people who didn't get it yet called me a scammer, but thank god I didn't get anyone that said that they didn't get anything but they did. I feel lucky compared to what you went through, lol!
