No and they seem to stand behind what they say. They didn't realize the pet jag and dalmatian were released a while back so when the pet store came back up to function they pulled these two items out and stated they didn't know these were released and it wont happen again.

No they didnt know it was a collectible because there was nothing in the coding stating it was a collectible.
