I went onto YoWorld after the switch occurred and was very disappointed. My former Yoville now in YoWorld has been thrown back into time, back to July of last year when I had less money saved up on there. My apartment was back to July 4th stuff when a few weeks prior to the trade of Yoville to Big Viking Games I had changed stuff around and made it look more like an apartment, and bought a few houses to put the 4th stuff in it. Those houses (specifically Trailers) are gone and the stuff is in my apartment like it was last year, not to mention my money was back at the amount it was last year as well.

I am on the verge of removing YoWorld all together. Because the stuff that I had put in my Apartment is now gone from the shops so I can't even get it anymore to replace it.

Is there anyone that can help me? I have written the game creators and moderators and no one will answer me. So I thought it would be helpful to write it on here.

Zynga failed to back up the game properly for many months. This happened to a lot of players. There is nothing that can be done to recover the data, since Zynga didn't give it to BVG. You just have to pick up the pieces and move on. Hopefully you will stay, most have I think.

Also to let you know this company has done more in 3+ weeks than Z did in years. They have been amazing. My wife had tons of homes dumped back into her inventory and I mean there was a crap load of stuff. She's still trying to empty it out.

Sorry, it's just how it is. Blame Zynga. Sorry for your loss Cheri. :)

I had done a lot in that period when Z---- did not bother to secure our changes. Everything that came out of my storage houses did go back, though I had a hard time remembering where a few things were without the dotcom profile house grids and the in-home navigator not showing previews. Everything that I bought from the stores went into my inventory tray. I am in the process of recreating everything from screen shots and have so far found everything. A few times, I thought things were vanished, but when I finally found them, I remembered putting them there when I had "organized" my storage. Hope thing turn up for you!

Yah you might find a few items in old locations.

But please remember, this was Zynga's doing. A last slap I guess. But they are never going to slap us again.

I hope you will stay and look ahead to what is yet to come.

Mine was different also... I had so much stuff in my inventory it was unreal.. I also had a bunch of empty homes and now I've made them storage units because I just don't think I can fix them up again. Good luck to you.

You are not the only one. My whole (COMPLETED) Burlesque and Mafia II homes are completely gone. I'm sure there are other things, but those are the most noticeable. I spent Hundreds (yes, hitting the $100 worth for yocash, during those releases). Now all down the drain. Unfortunately, Yoworld cannot restore any of it. I was upset, but I have to understand that it isn't their fault and move on. I am sure they will take care of the game better than Zynga did.
