In real life I don't have the best looks, I suck at makeup, my hair is really bland and my bangs can never fall the way I want them too, I'm chubby and because of this im deeply insecure about what I wear, (i wear a lot of baggy clothes to hide the fat and btw, baggy clothes are always ugly lol)) T-shirts are the only shirt option, unless I wear a baggy sweater, or else I'll be terrified.

But yoworld is different. I can express myself through fashion in ways I could have never done before. I always go to the malls irl here and I always find something I love, but it never looks right on me, or it doesnt fit. But not here, I can actually wear items I think are cute, and not look bad in them.

Thats why I love yoworld.

I am with you on the make-up skills.
Used to be slightly (not too bad) overweighed but slimmed down 40 lbs.

In real life I don't have anywhere near as many clothes to try out all those outfits with usually just 2 different colors.
Also I don't own even one house that I could decorate with all kinds of furniture ,like I can do in YoWorld.
My landlord in real life doesn't allow pets in the house.In YoWorld I have several pets,including a purple Alice in Wonderland cat,who keeps poofing and re-appearing somewhere else.
Also some pets I have in YoWorld are way too dangerous to even consider having in real life,even if my landlord allowed it.

I love YoWorld because I struggle with stuttering in real life and in Yoworld I can talk normally.

I love YoWorld because I stuggle to make friends in real life so I prefer doing it online.

It's true. I have a shy and reserved personality. I could never make friends so easily just by talking to them. But when I started playing this game, sure I was still shy, but I finally made a lot of great Yo-friends as the months pass by, being able to talk to them even in good times and bad times, making me laugh, and more. The game taught me to be more social around people, and it doesn't matter if they tease or hurt me because friends are always there for you. Although I am still shy around people, I made a few friends in real life because of this game. So thank you, YoWorld!

I love Yoworld because of the great people that I've met. I used to things that were not good and was going down the wrong path but people from here (most that don't play anymore, sadly) helped me keep my mind busy and focused on goals that kept me in here. Some of my rl friends started and all quit. Some of those are not with us anymore so I would like to think that the game and the awesome people kept me safe in a way. This game is special to me, for sure.

Firstly Maggie I remember briefly meeting you on the old forums and regardless of outer looks you were always beautiful hearted to me, a kind heart always shows on the outside too ( I suspect you don't give yourself as much credit as you deserve)
It's because of the awesome moments when stumbling along Yo either here or in game that are what keep me coming back. There's lots of trolls, scammers etc and plenty of people that are mean, only interested in trading or simply only wish to stick with friends in game that they know in rl, but then you can meet some one out of the blue that makes the game the awesome place it is, that's why I love this game.

Awww you make me all want to cry. Pls pls pls love yourselves more. I'm not perfect and rather over weight. But do not let stuff like this discourage you. I like Yo for the same reasons you all do. But know with age comes confidence, I wish I could give you some of what I have now.
As for make up skills.. YouTube is your friend - there are plenty of great makeup tips and such out there. The does and don'ts.. Some of them are hilarious too.

I know what you mean.I love this game cause I can run ,jump and do all kinds of stuff. In this game I have no tumors.I can wear a 2 piece and look good. No one in Yo can make fun of me cause of my ugly body tumors or cause of my crippling slow walk. Here I don't have to hear someone walking behind me tell me to give up and get a chair ( I refuse to get in chair unless its long walks then I use it ) I am too young to let it win.
Here all we see is whats on the inside of each other.We see how each person is by the way we treat each other so if you really think about it we truly do see hearts of each other.. I have see you Maggie in game and you have a great heart. Your beautiful

This goes to prove it's what is inside that counts. Shouldn't judge someone by their looks.

To those with physical limitations, you have my deep understanding. At one time I was almost bedridden with severe arthritis. Now with treatment I lead a fairly normal life. I am limited to what I can do each day, but I do feel blessed for what little bit I have gotten back. My rheumatologist told me I would be in a wheel chair without these meds.

Most all of my family and all of my rl friends rarely have time for me now. It's hard for them to cope with the "new" me I suppose. I was always the one going 24/7 and having folks over. Always on the go and doing crafty things. Now that I can no longer do most of these things, they can't slow down to spend a bit of time with me. I understand. I really do and am not bitter. Just saddened a bit I suppose. It's hard for them to accept I'm not as sharp as a tack mentally as I once was and I have good days and bad days. That's okay.

Things are pretty much consistent here in YoWorld. The people here you find that are genuine are here to the end.

I'm hoping to get to know more of you as the game continues.

(PS: This disclaimer to say if that all up there ^ is a bit rambling, I'm only half way through my first cup of coffee.

I'm the same too. I've grown up more of a Tomboy and make-up and clothing wasn't apart of growing up for me. I love wearing trackies and hoodies in RL but on Yo I can be anything lol!. A Princess to a Zombie. I Love it!

Missy Angel, was going to change into my maid costume with the handheld duster just for you, but soon realized they are no longer in my inventory. Guessing they were in part of my huge give-a-way or didn't make it in the move from Zzzzz Company. So I put on my Patriotic Maid Costume and got the white sparkler. I'll pretend it's a duster and dust with it. Since this is YoWorld, it'll work. You can turn any item into whatever you want it to be! lol

hehehe its all good , we had our old power hungry electric wall heater removed today and there is like YEARS of dust under it, can't clean it till the hole in the wall is fixed ....... on YoWorld you move something you'll never ever make a hole in the wall unless you want a hole in your wall

Miss Maggie - Your light in Yo shines brightly. I see how you treat others with graciousness and empathy. I had no idea you see the real you through the filters your post shows. The world is cruel and superficial, but it can often fire the beauty beneath. You do yourself no service by defining yourself in the way you have. There is soooo much more to you than bangs or make up.

Be who you are. Be proud of what you've been given. And don't ever let someone else define you.

I am glad you feel more confident in Yo. It is practice for you as you grow. You can be anything you choose in life, just as you can in Yo. So smile brightly as you walk your streets and share the good you have inside.
