I put numbers in a hat and pick one and thats my price (thx Samberg).... but seriously I try to pick a price due to how often I see a so called item, how many sales I see selling the items of that theme, based on their year, based on yocash or coin.... :D

in theory, thats a good tool but in reality, that is the average ASKING price, not the average selling price.

You mean from when you hover the cursor over the black info icon, and it shows the avg price of the item, no i think there is no such list, just the items in A/H.

I thought i read it was the actual avg selling price, but in saying that, some items in there are pricejacked for other reasons.

I think it's just a guideline (average amount). Not a true price of worth.

Why do I care the average price others are buying it for? I buy for what I want.

No. I've seen so many things buy/sell that the items I am interested in, I know what I'm gonna pay for them without consulting the guide or AH ave price.
