Honestly what in gods name is the point of randomly attacking somebody that does NOTHING to you, and has NEVER spoken to you..EVER...to just start attacking them calling them homophobic slurs and more.. This dissappoints me so much.. Yo is going nowhere if we let people like this continue to do this , and then nothing is done in turn of them attacking someone with homophobic slurs.

Unfortunately people have the right to their own views, whether you feel them right or wrong.
There isn't a point in random attacks though, that part is just childish stupidity.

Yes, as he said, of course I wish everyone would be open and accepting and if they're not it's only polite and fair to be quiet.

It's unfortunate when people resort to those types of insults, but really your only recourse is to report/block and move forward. It says more about them than it does about you. (assuming it's you this happened to?)

To be honest Im gay and open...never had an issue in Yo. ts not cool for people to be attacking but I do think they are the minority.

theres always going to be these type of people in and out of yo best you can do is block them and report it if u feel its harassment towards you.

General statement: I am curious to know why folks go on the attack like that. I mean, other than your friends, who would even know what your orientation is??
I don't see a sign on you that tells anyone what you are.
And...if it comes out in conversation around a homophobe, then that's their problem not yours. I've said it before, we can't control other people. Only us and how we react. It may be hurtful, but people have to learn to ignore the ignorance.

Exactly! You can only block them.

I was at a forum party today and saw someone say "That's so gay" and thought what an idiot. It's not worth my time or energy to say something back because fixing stupid = impossible.
