What are your opinions on the pricing on the new items?

I am okay on coins right now, but I realize that others and new players really don't have a way to earn coins right now (aside from selling) so I wish that maybe that was considered when creating the prices on the coin items since there are no silver chests and keys....

As far as yocash items......I am not sure how I feel yet.......LOL

I'm undecided on most of it except 15yc for a pair of glasses and 7yc for a pair of jeans seems a bit, uhhh... steep. *shrug*

I won't buy anything but I feel for those that will and will have to pay a lot going by today's yocash rates. Maybe they think about that for next time because some players just don't have the money to get the items that they want, let alone new ones that will be worth a lot.

I'm alright with the coin clothing, but I'm not going to pay 12yc for a pair of boots and jeans.

It's outrageous, if you ask me.

We need to be able to gift and do coin runs.. but alot have been bugging BVG for new stuff in the stores.. they can only do so much at one time! What is it going to be??? New stuff or getting the coin runs and gifts fixed? I vote for coin runs... but I am saying "thank you" for the new stuff in the stores.. Thankfully I have been able to sell some items and have some coins, but not everyone does and I feel for them..

I'm okay with the coin items. I made this post in another thread:

I'm okay with the prices. Earrings didn't use to be 250c. If someone without access to yocash wanted earrings this time last year, they'd pay 100k for them. I'll take the trade off.

I dont know how I feel about YC items yet. I'm hoping that somehow, it's all going to balance out with the variety of items we get for coins & YC.

YoWorld Update - June 30th, 2014
Unread postby Gary Stevenson » Mon Jun 30, 2014 7:05 pm

Hi YoFans,

A new update has gone out today. It includes:

• New 4th of July hair and clothing.
• New Canada Day hair and clothing.
• My shiny pants are back in the store.

This is just a small sample of what we have planned as we ramp up our content releases. As we mentioned before, we do not have the ability to release furniture just yet, but there will be new stuff in that area. <----------------This is what I want to know

I'm like Myrt. I wasn't really taken aback by the price of the coin items, and I was actually surprised to see most items were for coins. I think with having most items as coins, charging a bit more for the yc items didn't seem to be that big of a deal to me. Maybe it was because there were only a couple yc items. If there were 10 new handhelds all at 15yc, 5 colors of the boots for 5 yc each, 4 color jeans for 7 yc, maybe I'd feel differently.

Prices are ok for those of us that have been on here a while and have a little more cash. However I fell sorry for the new players. They have no way
of making coins that's probably why they go around begging everyone lol.

I like the items, but the prices did scare me a little, is that how its going to be from now on? 9-15 YoCash for a pair of glasses? :?

I think the pricing could use a little bit of adjusting still. It doesn't seem very new player friendly (especially since some of the methods they would typically use to earn coins are not currently functioning).

The yo-economy has always been like this. When I started playing, I couldn't afford a lot of the new stuff that was released. Pink retz were cheap by today's standards but I did not have enough coins to buy them. It took me 3 years to earn the coinage needed as the price for them went up and up...
There are some cheaper items and some pricier items...ever was it so.

The prices are a reflection of the current yoconomy. If people can afford 40K:1 yocash rates or hundreds of thousands for items in the AH, 6000 is nothing.

Since BVG is not going to re-release items to bring some sanity to the prices the plutocrats demand for their items, they are simply going to price their items according to the current rates.

The plutocrats have time and again said that there are plenty of ways for new players to earn coins so according to them, paying a few thousand for a hoodie should be no problem at all.

From what I have seen items go for, BVG is underpricing their items. There needs to be a radical shift in the yoconomy if people are going to stay ahead of the price curve that is being created by BVG, the current yocash rates need to start increasing. 70K:1 should be a sufficient rate to work towards.

I feel the same as both of you.....I wouldn't mind paying more yc for one item as long as the WHOLE outfit wasn't yocash......As far as the coins items I am fine with it but I hope for the sake of new players we get a new way to make coins if coin prices on some things will be high.

I think it's a bit pricey as compared to what the old prices were. I'm all for supporting the game and I'd be willing to buy more IF the prices were a bit lower.. Jeans for yocash and 28 yocash for hair is too high for me 50 yo for crown. I'm not being ungrateful, I'm being honest in what I can afford.
