Probably because they deflated due to people spreading rumors, and are inflating due to the BVG questionnaire stating that anything released in game properly will not be re-released into the game.

Because, as others stated, they won't be released again. However....prices will come down again if you just wait it out.

People are made that they paid about 30m a piece for them a month ago and they've fallen in price, like they do every year this time of year, so they're attempting a last ditch effort to try to jack them back up to that price even though the coin economy is not there anymore to support it.

Well pricejackers brought the price down with fake events. Maybe the same things is happening now but people are making fake events buying them for a higher price.
