I was gifted by a friend, but when I entered I was sent to that friend's home.

They come in pairs, even when you buy in the Yodepot.
They gave you one, must have kept one.

I have another one available. But when I enter, it says "the other door is not currently available". Then when I enter the door that was gifted to me, it takes me to the friend's home.

if they gave you two, they gave you one from set A one from set B.
Set A 2 doors, you have 1 they have 1.
Set B 2 doors You have one the second is in their inventory, or in your inventory.

I cant even find them in stores anymore to be honest but I know you need both doors out of inventory and placed in your own rooms to work them.

ohhh. Okay. That explains it. I usually shop from the inventory option rather than directly from the store.

You can find it...when you click the white envelop, when you want to send a gift to a friend. You click "Send gift" and then there's "Buy a gift'. It cost only 2500 coins.

Yeah I just went to yodepot store manually and bought them there, too.

Teleport doors are a nightmare when you have more than one set.. the best way to deal with figuring them out is

place A door in each room, go to one door and enter it, you will come out another door, pick those up and place them where you want them to be.. and then redo this until your doors are all figured out again.

NEVER buy doors in trades, lol. it's never a match pair.

is that working now? The last time I tried to gift teleport doors it wouldn't let me...that would be great

That's a good idea. I have about 30 doors. think I'll sell em back to the store and start over

I spent a whole week pairing mine up!
I have like 15 sets... couldn't get them to match. What a mess! lol They now sit in pairs until I decide what to do with them lol

No, lol. Sadly it's just a lone door.

I had a few of them I kept lined up in a room and from time to time would see where they took me.

I just bought 2 new ones. I put them to different homes. It worked. Maybe I'll just delete the one that's been gifted to me.

Just a suggestion, you could ask for the door from your friend that leads to his apartment then you would have a matching pair. Your only issue is that you needed that door that was in his apartment.

The door that says it was unavailable is in someones inventory.

They have to be a perfect match to work.

...since I've lost a few paired one with the loss of MS account I guess the best is to sell them back to stores...

I tried selling it. "Non-refundable" it says. Cannot be sold. I tried gifting it back, it won't appear in my inventory. Maybe things have changed.
