YC was cheaper. Particularly when buying from over sea's. Buying the YC from my country I just looked and to purchase the 600yc is $115 NZ dollars. I'm sure in other countries - Its even worse. I'm just thinking maybe BVG would get more people buying if it was considerably cheaper. If more people buy, thats more revenue right. Where right now for me anyway, its so expensive that really only people who are older more established probably buy it. For me it was a treat. But not something i can afford to do regularly.

I think as long as they put it on sale every once in a while that would be good. I know Zynga would sometimes make a killing off me because they would put up that 30% off pop-up. I always went for the bait and bought so i could have extra yocash in reserve.LOL

When Zynga did the Flash Sales I LOVED them and almost ALWAYS bought YoCash. But, I would prefer like a full day or 2 day sale. Flash sales are more exciting, but not everyone can catch them. If they did a sale or even a flash sale, I think they will get more.

I agree if was cheaper more would buy it and the people who buy already would be encouraged to buy more

I think too if it was cheaper we wouldn't be so .. thoughtful on what we spent it on. We would spend more right? Be ready to buy our next lot a lot sooner. As well as incouraging others who currently don't buy to loosen their purse strings.

I only bought the most to get the discount. I wasnt going to purchase the lower amount like I did under Zynga with cards cos you get less Yocash in the long run for what you spend. I also would only buy once every two months unless of course there's a lot of new things that are vastly different to previous releases and more quirky things that take my fancy :)

Edit: 660 yocash came to just under 60 pounds sterling here in Great Britain!

If it was cheaper to buy then items would go up in cost. They have to make it up somewhere, even if there is a higher number of people buying.

More people buying at a lower cost for yc doesn't necessarily mean more revenue.

Probably special sales would help a huge lot. When we had flash sales, it often motivated me to buy YoCash even if I didn't really need more yet.

I really like the idea of a "Fire" sale every so often! I do think that might bring in people who are usually not able to buy....

The price is the same in U.S. dollars, it is just the Kiwi dollar is worth a bit less than the U.S. dollar. For people in the U.K. their pound is worth more than the U.S. dollar so they pay less.

Yea 60 sterling pound here is worth way more here. It use to be triple.. so 20 pound would be worth 60 nz dollars. not quite that high anymore.

Flash Sales and % off pop ups would generate a LOT of cash for the game! We do have a % off yocash atm and a huge discount in coins going on now too. I think BVG has a lot on their plate and having a Flash Sale and items for sale would get things moving in the right direction. Actually I think we are going in the right direction slowly but surely! :D

That's a good idea! I agree wholeheartedly. Back in like '09 when both my mom and I were avid players, we both thought "oh we'll never get yocash. No need to waste money on a game and yadda yadda yadda. But, in '10 we both really wanted some items so we each bought a $10 yocash card, granting us 50 yocash. It was great and everything and we did it maybe 5ish times total (so about $100 total for both of us) when we realized the item's prices were increasing in yocash and we just couldn't keep up. My mom stopped playing around the end of '11 and now it's just me lol. Seeing as I'm going off to college soon, the $10 for 50 yocash just isn't worth it when I need to be saving my money for things like food, clothes, groceries, etc. But maybe if I got more yocash I might consider buying every now and then as a treat when I have "fall break" and stuff.

Me too. I would spend like 50-100 dollars during those 30% sales lol.
