Do you think devaluing the coin by BVG selling them significantly cheaper would be a way to fix the disparity with the amount of hacked coins to legit coins, or do you think that would cause unintended circumstances to the overall economy?

The hackers introduced far too many coins into the game. That devalued the coins. This is the whole problem, they are far too devalued already. By taking all the hacked coins out a correction is already underway. It will be hard for a small amount of time but once people start earning coins again and the yocash purchases pick up (when there is a new theme to buy) , and when the coin players start to feel better about buying from dealers because they are once again earning, It will return to normal. IMO.

I think BVG is already selling them significantly cheaper than zynga did. It's a far more realistic price given what the coins will buy in the game. I don't think devaluing them further is the answer as that would just cause more inflation. Correction is needed, not further devaluation.

And no I'm not an economist i just find it an interesting subject. So I could be wrong.

Thanks for the input. I'm far from understanding it all. I just thought that if people could buy coins for YC rates then it would all start to even out. Again I'm really ignorant when it comes to this stuff.

You must think past coins and yo cash. What do players want? That is correct. They want stuff they like or think they can make more coins off. Coins and yo cash are a means to an end. The value of coins and yo cash are ultimately based on item availability (demand & supply), price guide manipulation, event jacking, and what the legit owners of items will sell for.

Eliminating of 100s of millions of ill gotten coins and items will hurt both sides of availability. Allowing players to keep FG items removes that player from the demand pool, thus reducing prices.

But to your point - I do not think selling coins more cheaply will in any way devalue the coins in my account......as long as there are new or old items players want to buy. The thing that devalues coins is the 'want' in other players. Players no longer 'want' WGN hair or Blue Ninja Hair because they have these things now. Thus what used to cost 60M has been devalued to about 500k. Ah good times. :)

I do not think flooding more under-valued coins into the game is going to save it. That would just make prices start going back up as you would have more coins burning holes in the pockets of the buyers.

I will say that it is pretty certain there are still a lot of coins being sold under the table by some of the top "sellers" in the game. Don't you ever wonder where all those billions of coins wind up? ;)

I lost you here. I would think that allowing people to keep their hacked FGs would only hurt the market, not help it.

Yikes! I just had a friend who quit send me a bunch of stuff and I thought I hit the lottery. But I guess the few coins I have are are never going to amass to much in comparison.

I'll just keep playing like I didn't know this LOL :-D
