I'm certainly all for capitalism, but when people are pricingg an item by like 5M coins when it was just 600k-1M yesterday...I don't even know what to say. What, did people just decide to stop referring to price guides when selling items?

The correct question is when did players start referring to price guides when selling items. I am fine with it, if somebody wants more than what I am willing to pay I just move on. I have willpower when it comes to spending.

if you feel its too much don't buy it , the sellers will reduce the price
I don't go by guides much they vary at lot sometimes I'll check but most time I'll go by average in AH

I offer way more than guides when I buy things so you bet your bottom dollar when I sell hard to find items, I price them higher than guides too.

But ya know, if you're willing to sell me a Mini Park Brown Straw Hat at guide price, by all means. :)

Guides are just a guideline. People may follow them if they wish, but they don't have to. Though many refer to price-guides when finding out a reasonable price, some make up their own price and if that's what they want to do, who's to stop them? If they want to sell/buy at 5M I guess that's what they want and if you don't like it, keep looking for other offers and seller/buyers. They will eventually figure out its a bit out of range.

price guides are run by players.. and in the past the prices were manipulated to best serve the people at the guides... always been like that, and I imagine it always will be.... I remember a friend who was good friends with price guide ppl.. he told me, "buy red lava lamps cuz they are gonna be jacked in the guides soon" ....ya.. your item, your price

besides, with the many many many players that are Multi millionaires, there is no price to high.. the house glitch enabled many to become mega rich.. coins are worthless .. there are way too many coins in the game

But it's true, and I know that the eyes im wearing wont be sold for under 10mil in my book. If you love an item, you should choose how much its worth to you to buy or sell.

There is no in-game law to follow priceguides. I sell for both more and less than what guides say and I certainly buy for more than guides say, too.

You should be asking yourself whether people will actually buy it or not... Ofcoarse not, the most it'll sell for as of today is probably 1.5m

There's no need to follow price guides if you chose not too. They're just a guide IF you need/want some help when selling or buying items.

I buy and sell at what I believe is fair. Sometimes if I want an item bad enough i'll go higher than what I wanted, but it's only if I want the item, at what point do I not want it anymore, at the point when I feel it's to high.

I price things to sell and pay over price guides' suggestions for things I really want. I suppose I contribute to the high prices by paying them but when ya want something badly enough...
