I have many wonderful memories but this one was so fun and sweet. I was going to quit the game and was selling and giving everything away. I saw an event with a guy asking to buy a hat cheap. I went to the event and he was a noob and just wanted to not feel poor when he was out and about. So I gifted him a Mafia hat (before they were re-released.) I didn't know if he would know what it was but he was so excited and grateful. I've given lots of things away over the years but that memory is special because he was so genuine. The quitting didn't work out so well. :haha:

I LOVE when Christmas and Halloween roll around. I usually end up buying 2 or 3 houses just so I can buy all of the decor. I loved last year's theme and the year before. This past Christmas, my aunt and uncle got me a Facebook game giftcard, so I bought enough Yocash to buy a house I've been wanting for a few years and some furniture. I loved getting to do that. I never get to buy Yocash, so that was so much fun.

Hello.... Im Jeannie :balloon: I origianally started playing Yo when it was Yoville, i believe in 2009... (its much better now... :D ) I stopped playing for years and then i found out that my daughter was playing in i think in 2015 and started up again with my daughter... it was special a very special bonding time with the two of us... the memory i have that sticks out the most was i want to say mothers day of the following year.. it was when the Le Cafe Cashe was added... my daughter bought it and on mothers day she asked me to come to her "Cafe" and made a pretty big deal out of mothers day and gave me a pair of earrings on the game... i remember someone came in to her cafe at the time and watched her tell me "Happy Mother's Day" and give me my gift... it was very special..im not even sure if she realizes how special it was to me......

Thanks for reading........

I remember when i just started and i went to Alton towers and tried adding buddies but they would always decline and say rude things like "i'm not adding any newbies" But i tried to another person and i said thank you! for adding me your my first friend then she asked if i was new? and i said yes i started 3 days ago. she then froze as i thought but she actually she gifted me items she told me how to play open gifts events and that kind of stuff when i opened it it had yo cash items like expensive type things.....
But the best part is that day she was wearing an angle costume  hehe :haha: She also still messages good morning and G'day all the time

Thank you so much TingTingALing for the great start you gave

I love, love, love going to events & looking for 'treasures'! At one event, shortly after BVG took over, I was thrilled to find some items I had never seen before & I went on a spending spree! Sadly, I ran out of coins, with still so many items I wanted to buy! As I purchased my last item, the seller surprised me with 500,000 coins, as well as many surprise gift items! I was so overwhelmed by her generosity that I thought about it all that night. The next day I went shopping in the real world, and stopped for supper. As I ate I watched a young mother & her little girl eating & decided to make their day special too! So I paid for their meal without them knowing it...even ordered a dessert for them & left without them even knowing who I was! I felt so blessed that day, that I now make it a monthly habit to 'pay it forward'! I never did anything like that before I was shown so much kindness in this game by a complete stranger. Believe it or not, that moment has changed me in so many ways! Proving that...you never know how far a little kindness can go in changing the world!

Hi I met a guy in his themed disco on yo around 9 years ago. Screens used to freeze as his nightclub was packed!
I really fell for this guy and we have now been married in real life for 5 years!

I remember my first costume. I bought the Pirate costume in Oct. of '08. i think it was only like 1500 coins but back then it took me a couple weeks to save up that much. I still own the costume, may look a little plain compared to today's costumes but it is still my favorite.

My biggest memory in this game is when a lot of players fought to have it saved and Big Viking Games came to our rescue. Thank you. This game lets me escape for a while from reality and unwind. So grateful for it. I met a few people through this game and we are friends on FB as well. Just wish you would bring back old themes every 4 or 6 months, so that newbies also have a chance to buy these things. :balloon:

My favorite Yo-Memory was the birthday party for my Yo-God Father! Even though it is a game, real connections are formed, I love my virtual family! We had a dinner in a beautifully decorated room, and then my yo-cousin, Alexis, decorated a titanic themed party room (because he loves the Titanic movie) and we had a toast and all said why we love him! It was such a fun and uplifting celebration! I don't have photos of the actual event, but I do have photos of the venue. I love Yoworld!

My very favorite Yo memory was when Zynga made the announcement that they were closing YoVille and the entire Yo community went into action to protest the closing of our beloved game. We all banded together over months of protests....all wearing our Viking hats and congregating at Alton Towers to share stories and post pictures of the masses of YoVillians in their Viking hats on Face Book.....pleading to Big Vikings to help us....and after a complicated deal was worked out with Zynga to buy back YoWorld, the Viking ship set sail and rescued our beloved Yoville, renaming it YoWorld and working out all the bugs that had gone unresolved for much too long. This took time but we waited patiently, knowing that our wait would be well worth it. Big Vikings has our deepest gratitude for going beyond our expectation to this amazing game. I am 66 years old and still play daily! Thank you to each and every Viking.....WE LOVE YOU!!

I met and made a good friend in "YoVille" and though we have never physically met, we spent hours chatting with each other, our avatars sitting in each other's house or apartment. Fun times and we stay friends on Facebook. Thankful YoWorld is still around making friendships possible.

My favorite Yo-Memory is the fact that through this game I have made a real life friend. While things just havent worked out to meet in person, we have spoken on the phone and have a love of certain TV shows that we watch together/apart. This friend and I became friends simply to have additional neighbors. Before long, I began noticing her love of her cat Sporkie and asked her about the cute outfits she put on him. One thing led to another and our conversations quickly grew to a nice friendship. When I announced last year that i was getting married, she had quite a surprise for me. She set up a yo-wedding and reception in one of her homes and then through in a honeymoon as well. I consider her one of my best online virtual/real friends. Sheila Tines is her name and she is just a real nice gal! That is about as best of a memory that anyone could get from Yoworld................. Making virtual neighbors become real friends
