My Mom was killed in a auto accident over 25 yrs ago, by a male driver with no Insurance no Licence and he ran a red light, so I go to the grave and place a Rose there and talk to her,I also lost my one and only sister a year later, she just turned 24, I have 3 children whom all live 2000-3000 miles away, however I do get a call from 2 and a card from one, So It Is a lonely day, and I just make the best of it..

Joy was her name but Mom was as well.
She taught me how to count, also how to spell.
She supplied fresh fruits & veggies from her garden...
And no matter the wrong I did, I was punished & then pardoned.

She canned food for us to have in the winter season.
She made homemade clothes for us for a reason.
When we had little to nothing, she would find what we needed---
She had a heart of gold, never was conceited!

Mom has been gone from this world for over 30 years.
No longer around to comfort and ease my simple fears.
But inside of my heart is where she still remains...
Until we meet once more on Heaven's plains.

My Mom There is a woman to whom my heart belongs. She is warm, loving and caring. she is bold and daring. There is a woman who sing my songs. She feels my triumphs and failures as they were her own. I am her lil clone. There is a woman i love so dear. She is my mother, my world, my hero from the start. She will always hold my heart. There is a woman I call mom. She is my friend, my confidant, my strength in this world. I am SO lucky to be her lil girl.

If Roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,

Mother & Daughter
It's a special bond that spans the years. Through Laughter, worry, smiles and tears. It's a real sense of trust that cannot be broken, a depth of love sometimes unspoken. Life long friendship built on sharing, Hugs and Kisses, warmth and caring. Mother and Daughter their hearts as one, a link that can never be undone.

She carried me in her tummy, and I wasn't alone;
for nine whole months she carried two on her own.
Then she clothed us, kept us fed, with our sisters and brother,
kept a roof over our heads, she was such a good mother.
Her wisdom and advice, often not taken or misunderstood
as teenagers we knew it all and were always up to no good.
But her love remained strong and she always had my back
often fighting my battles as a matter of fact.
I made it through highschool because of her firm hand and good grace
as I accepted my diploma tears of pride streamed down her face.
"Love and communication" the advice she gave me the day I was wed
And through all the years, it's that advice I go back to in my head
Now here I am raising two teens of my very own
And I realize just how much she made our house a good home
Mom often struggled, day to day, raising 5 kids by herself
giving up on things she wanted putting her dreams on the shelf
I finally understand,now, when she tells me it was worth it
How she wouldn't change a thing, that through it all she's thankful for it
So with a thankful heart filled with love and gratitude I want to say
to my mom, my special friend, may you have a wonderful and

Mum , you know how much I care – I think of you each day.
You have been my comfort, and so I want to say,
Thank you for your friendship and your very special caring
On mother’s day and every day, my love for you I’m sharing......
I picked a lovely flower for you - you took it with a smile
You placed it in a vase... and I saw it for a while.
Then it was gone.... “It must have died” I thought, and crept away...
I forgot about it, time moved on -
Until my wedding day …
and there it was in my bouquet. <3
(That flower is still treasured. )

Updated....
And now I have it saved inside the book we've kept together
Dad's photos, and the things we've loved – we'll keep them all forever.

This is in dedication to my mom who I lost last June...
( I wrote this for her)

She closes her eyes to the morning sun
A stage of life is ending, a new one begun
Visions of softness swirl thru her mind

As she sees he loved ones she left behind
Up into clouds she flies..
As droplets of tears fills her eyes
She is greeted by moonlight and stars aglow
Embraced by the warmth that always knows

All is quiet, not a solitary sound
No voices, no laughter, no one is around
Struggling with emotion, heartache ,despair
She whispers- How will they know I still care?

With those spoken words, so loving and true,
She knew at that moment what she must do.

Free to dream, free to dance
She looks around with just one glance
Setting forth on her new quest
Desires to put her fears to rest

With a wave of her arm and a toss of her hand
She spreads a blanket of stars throughout the land
Protecting her loved ones in a warm embrace
Puts a smile of peace upon her face

When they see the light, they will know
My masterpiece glittering above them aglow
And sleep knowing that when they awake
With my breath of sunshine upon their face

She will always be here no matter near or far
For she just let you know by the newest twinkling star.

And is why i feel i must write this post
She was loving, kind, honest and true
Now i i really don't know what to do.

She taught me to love, be honest and kind
A more amazing person is impossible to find
Unfortunately, she is no longer here with me
She is flying with the angels, happy and free

I will never forget her sweet loving ways
And will carry her with me til the end of my days
So always cherish the woman you call mother
And celebrate her often, Love her like no other
