Special - Tree Of Life Necklace Silver

The tree of life necklace holds special meaning to me because my great grandmother who passed away last year used to wear hers everyday. I had bought it for her (yes it was silver) at the age of 10...so she had it for 13 years or my life and treasured it. It reminds me of her everyday and when i get married i will be wearing it as well. I miss her but i am so grateful that she lived to be 100 years old,that she got to meet her very first great great grandchild. I will never forget the moments we shared,the memories we created,and the stories shes told me!

Well, hey there! I'm dressed and ready for the Kentucky Derby. I'm so excited because I've never been. When Julia Roberts went in the movie Pretty Woman, she looked like she was having fun. I'm sure I will, too. I do hope I don't ruin my new shoes when it's time to tamp the 'divots' back in place, doing the Divot Stomp.

Something Old: My pearl set: Pearl Necklace, Pearl Bracelet, Pearl Earrings. True story. My 'home' was burglarized a couple of years ago and my pearl earrings were taken. I was so happy to find a pair in the AH, as they are very sentimental to me.

Something New: Gloves/white magician gloves PS2015 &what woman doesn't like an excuse to buy a new pair of shoes!

Julia came to town to stay at her best friends Jasmine's guest cottage till she got a place of her own. Little did she know that her friend was setting her up on a blind date at her Valentine's Dance at the building behind their house, So, James went to get a rose for the girl Jasmine said would be perfect for him and they were out of red roses. So, he bought a blue one not knowing it was her favorite color.
So, she showed up in a white gown and had a great conversation till the buffet was ready. They went up to the buffet when it was served and the caterer bumped into the bowl of spaghetti sauce and it fell to the floor splashing up onto Julia's gown. She was horrified as she was covered in the sauce. Julia said she was sorry she had to go excused herself ended up taking off her heels and ran barefoot back to the guest house through the snow to get cleaned up while Jasmine ran back to her house to lend her friend another gown which she dropped off at the cottage. Julia now being all clean and looking fantastic in her friends gown was finishing her makeup by the gas fireplace when the doorbell rang. It was James carrying a fondue pot and Julia let him in and she grabbed some strawberries from the fridge and they had that for dinner in front of the roaring fire. Then she shut the fireplace off and he carried her back to the Valentine's Dance so, she would not ruin the gown in the snow. They fell in love that night hence the look you see before you for Julia's wedding day as James told her she looked beautiful even though she was covered in spaghetti sauce. Though the gown for her wedding day was covered in rose petals.

I know, "those who must not be named". The shirt was an add on bonus at a sale. I was a new player and the generosity of the event host was touching. My avi wore the shirt everyday for five years before I discovered how much fun costuming was. I still love the shirt, its one of my favorites.
