My little Yo is recovering from an accident and this year, she's unable to go to the big fireworks celebration for Chinese New Year. Instead, she's dressed in her holiday finest, has her munchies ready, and is seated comfortably in her recliner, watching them from her window. It's not the same as actually being there, but she has a fabulous view of the fireworks show and is grateful she isn't missing them. As the Chinese Proverb goes: One's true nature is revealed in time of difficulty.
