However, it is really a cozy cottage in the suburbs. The furniture is a mixture of themes and the fireplace is like the frosting on a cake

. It shows how much we love YO and the people we meet in YO. YoWorld breaks time and distance barriers and places a world of fun, laughs, love and lifetime friendships. TY BVG for this contest, as the things my fellow players shared spoke for all of us.

I was new and nieve and almost fell for the double your money scam. That is when Betty arrived and saved me from the scammer. We talked and I learned she lived in Flordia. We always seemed to play the game about the same time every night and we chatted and played for hours on end until the sun came up each morning. We started talking to each other regularly on the phone and we always made each other laugh. Four years had passed and we still played YoVille and talked on the phone. But one day she told me she was diagnosed with cancer.... My heart was breaking.
In 2012, I moved to Flordia, on the east coast. Betty was still on the west coast, only about 4 hours away from me. She was in the hospital at this point as she was very ill and I decided to take the 4-hour trek and meet her for the first time... I spent several days with her and her family up at the hospital. My small dog, Shelbie, was even able to visit her in the hospital. She had doggies too, but they were not able to see her. Shelbie was the last pup she was able to see or hold, and he truly brought a huge smile to her face. She was not only a friend but became family, my sister. I hated to leave her, especially knowing that I would probably never see her again. Only a few months after my visit with her, she passed away, leaving this world for the next. After she passed, I stopped playing YoVille for several years... I recently started playing again.
I am thankful that this game was created because, without it, I would not have met the wonderful woman that became my friend, my sister. She was a light in this world, and I am so incredibly thankful that I was able to meet her and get to know her and her family... It is an experience I will carry with me for the rest of my life!
I visit her avatar from time to time and leave her messages.... I miss her a lot.
Thank You to the creators of YoVille/YoWorld, for without you, I would have never known Betty... (Aka, BB)
