Way back in 92 I would frequent the local record shop, buying all the really old Metallica CDs in preparation for their world tour that was coming to town. The guy who worked there informed my equally mad Metallica mad friend and me, that for every Metallica cd we purchased was another entry into the store's competition, the amazing prize was two tickets to see Metallica in the snake pit. We informed him we already had awesome seats for the show when he gave us a wink and said if we won he would take them off us. Clearly, we won and tickets were exchanged. Donning our Met t-shirts we arrived early and stood directly in front of what was to be James Hetfield's Mic. You can see my friends hand in the shot with James! Camera with film ( this was before digi cams or smart phones) and lighter in my pocket, we were mesmerized by this amazing show as flying hair swept past us as headbangers banged on behind us. Not eager for it to end, half a dozen of us went and hung around the back door, James and Kirk were very kind to get out of their rides and sign autographs for us. It was a magical night and one I will never ever forget.

My best concert ever was Shania Twain live in Hyde Park London. I was so determined to get to it that I postponed my Honeymoon to make sure it did not clash with the concert. Nothing was going to get in the way! Did not disappoint. Was really close to the stage so made it even more worth it to see her up close!

I'm a huge fan of Pentatonix(an a cappella group). I've never became so crazy for a band/group so when they had a concert here in our country, I immediately bought a ticket for myself(my first time concert). I'm a typical person who likes a lot of pop artist, modern music but this group is very different, something special about them. So at the day of the concert, I was really nervous and excited at the same time. The long wait is over, I would finally meet them and hopefully to see them in person(unfortunately, didn't have the chance). Fans were screaming and shouting their name continuously. Teary eyes and chills all over my body. For me, they are the best group and the most talented persons ever! A memory that I will treasure the most and once in a life time experience especially recently one of their members left the group which made me really sad. I'm glad I had the chance to experience the best thing in my life.

My favourite concert memory was the One love Manchester concert. I say this before the amount of love in that venue was unreal it was full of brave and respected people. I think this is the best memory because the stewards and police who was there to keep us all safe was making us feel not scared because of the way they was dancing with fans, taking selfies and generally having a good time just like all of the people who was attending. They even had conversations with us public there and made us laugh which is something you don't expect of a police man/women. I loved every minute of that concert and never wanted it to end. I've never known an atmosphere like it at any other concert I've attended. I also think it was the best concert because it had so many different acts there which was great to watch because I've never seen some of them live before but had always wanted to so it was great.

Re { CONTEST} ENTRIES: The Best. Concert. Ever

The best concert ever i went to was to a Selena Gomez concert . It was an amazing experience . I wish i could relive that moment one more time! I love her so much ! While she was passing she gave me a hug and i got to take a picture with her and i also got her autograph . I will never ever forget that moment ever. When i think back at when i went to her concert it would always make me smile . And my friends were there too . They would always laugh at me when we talked about the concert because when she gave me a hug i froze like a statue and that was absolutely embarassing ! Bt i didnt care cause i still got a hug from her ! XD :) MOments i would cherish and remember !

Gosh this is hard every concert is amazing! I'm going to go with the time I saw 'Take That' I would have only been about 7 years old but I went with my family. It was a great experience for my first time at a concert as everyone was laughing and singing along to all the songs (I didn't know the words or who they was at that age). This group of lads behind us and they was stood up jumping to the music and their beer was flying everywhere over everyone and I thought it was funny. Towards the end I got out my seat and stood in the stair way near where my mum and dad was sitting and was dancing as most young children do. This older man came up to me and gave me some money and said to me I was going to be a star when I grew up and he made my night. I remember going home in the car asking my mum when we could go to another concert and since then I've got tickets every Christmas from my mum and dad to see a band or singer I like during the following year.

To be honest, I've only ever been to one concert lol. It was in my favourite place in the world, Melbourne, with my cousin last year. We went to see 5 Seconds of Summer and it was definitely the best night of my life. I had spent about 3 years supporting the group beforehand and I didn't really have the money to go to any of their last concerts. I had felt really unhappy before that, and as ~cliche~ as it is, they really helped me. Seeing the people that helped me find ways to deal with my emotions, both through their music and their personalities, was life changing for me, and I'd pay any amount of money to relive it. When they played my favourite song 'Disconnected', I bawled lmao. The whole trip was amazing. It was the first time I had experienced real independence, and it only made me want to move to Melbourne more.

Even if we don't win, it was an awesome way to remember one of the best times of my life! Thanks for the opportunity! :)

I would say my best concert was when i was 16, I had never been to a concert before, I was picked u from school and i was told they had a surprise for me, I went along with it and i was completely unaware of where we were going, Well anyways we got to my friends house and they had my clothes there, Then they gave me a envolope and i opened it and inside was 4 tickets to see the wanted, I had dreamed of seeing them and it was amazing we all got dressed and headed to the o2 Areana and got seated, then it all started, the amazing concert lasted 4 hours and was the best 4 hours of my life, I have the tickets and signed pictures in a frame

I've been to only one concert that concert was JLS my sister won the tickets on the radio. It was a school night I'd come home from school and my sister told me she had a surprise for me when she told me I couldn't believe it!. When we went I left school early I remember my mum telling school I had dentist appointment and I wouldn't be back in the afternoon as I was getting a filling but I wasn't really I was traveling to London. When we got there my mum bought me a T-shirt with their tour on and I changed into it I was so excited. That wasn't the best bit I had a meet and greet pass so before it started I got to meet them and have my picture taken with them and my sister (my mum still has this picture in her living room on the wall). I will always remember that concert because all the way home me and my sister was singing the songs which they had played at the concert and my mum was so happy that we was.

The best concert i have ever been to was when my sister bought me tickets to see Kiss and Areosmith for my birthday in 2005. It was my last chance to ever see the 4 original Kiss members I had no idea i was going untill the night before we left . My sisiter and wife even booked time off work for me without me knowing . We had to drive 15hrs considering i live in Nova Scotia Canada and the concert was in Boston . I have also been a Kiss fan for more then 35years . It was one of the best times ever , It was well worth the drive both bands were great . Thanks for the contest .

There's too many to pick just one (Ozzfest, Dragon Con, etc.) I hung out with a couple of bands that were really awesome people but the best was Ozzfest 2001. I had seen Linkin Park <3, Disturbed, Slipknot and Manson, but the overall best part was Black Sabbath and the Ozzman himself.

It was four seasons in one day. GUNS N ROSES CONCERT in Australia. 1993. Only 20 years old and rocking it. There was a change of weather before the concert started and the helicopter couldn't land the band. The concert was temporarily cancelled until it cleared. The crowd went wild. With relief. GUNS N ROSES back in there day was a concert to remember.

Two friends & I got free tickets to the L.A. Forum to see Joe Cocker in 1972.. The opening act was a fairly young Stevie Wonder. He played every instrument on the stage except the drums and was great!
