Our local Music Festival's headline act this year was The Beach Boys - and John Stamos was guesting with them. They must have felt a huge difference between a California beach and an evening performace in the NE of Scotland. It was a great concert - it reminded me of my youth. ;)
And they looked even older than me! :haha:

I grew up in the 60s,i had gone to concerts, but always to loud for me. when i was pregnant for my son, we lived in Charleston and Elvis was doing a concert there. Come to find out it was one of his last. I was given tickets to it as i was always a big fan of his. His big thing was wiping his face then throwing the scarf at a fan. My seat was clear in the back and i was brought up front by the security, as i was really showing lol. He handed me his scarf and kissed it, told me to be a great momma. The best concert ever.

The best concert that I ever attended was seeing Led Zeppelin. Seeing Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Enthwhistle and John Bonham perform is something I will never forget.

I have been to my share of concerts. I have been to over 100 shows.
In 2011 I won pit passes to the Avalanche tour. Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm and Art of Dying were playing. It was exciting to be in the pit and so close but Lzzy Hale of Halestorm who threw her Drink of Poison out into the crowd and I was the lucky one to catch it. :trophy: Halestorm and Art of Dying were meeting with fans after their sets. I went down to meet Halestorm and hopefully get something signed. Lzzy basically jumped across the table to greet me with open arms. At that time I had never met a rock star, much less been hugged by one. It was such a great meeting, she made me feel welcomed. She has made me feel welcomed every time she sees me now. I have met with them several times since that first meeting. It was also the first meeting of Art of Dying. What a group of friendly guys. Those guys are great and now my friends outside of concerts. They were recently in my area and came to my house to bbq and put on a private show for my friends. It was awesome and rather personal, I loved it... I also love both bands.

I am a really big fan of Amy Grant. I really wanted to see her concert and wasn't sure I would be able to go. On my 17th birthday a friend had a big surprise for me. He had contacted Amy Grants fan department and got her to send a signed picture of herself to me :) I also had tickets to the concert. It was a beautiful concert and I finally got to see it.

My most memorable concert was a KISS concert (many moons ago). Ace threw the towel he was using to wipe his face into the crowd and I grabbed it. I was pounced upon by others who wanted it and after a short tussle, I was left with only a small piece of it but was thrilled I managed to get what I did. :D

My best concert ever was the 1986 Princes Trust Concert at Wembley Arena, UK. Prince Charles and Lady Diana were in the Royal Box and I was sat with my friends in Row 10 right in front of the stage! Elton John, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, UB40, Mark Knofler and Tina Turner were among the many stars that appeared, and at the end an impromptu performance of Dancing in the Street by David Bowie and Mick Jagger! This wonderful concert will forever be memorable to me, best £25 I ever spent!

Listening to various music genres, the first cd I bought bad of michael jackson but I never had the money to go to her concerts. I love the art of queen, metal, likin park, luciano ligabue. To find work abroad also I like to attend pubs with live music, and to know in my opinion interesting groups that are not yet famous. Here's the photo for the contest: welcome dj rock peace  :star:  :bye: https://apps.facebook.com/playyoworld/?d=h71883928

Most of the time we seek to go to concerts by bands and favorite singers. I believe that the songs and the shows themselves are there to touch us deeply.
I've been in the most varied types of shows, I like to go, I feel good!
I've been to the Red Hot Chili Peppers show more than once and I love the guys but recently I'm anxious to go to Paul McCartney's show, after all it's a legend! :trophy:
Great milestones in history are of shows, as is the Woodstock example, I wish I had gone! The YoStock theme (YS2017) reminded me of Woodstock and wanted to put on a similar show. I loved this theme, after all the music is everywhere. :star:

I was in my teenage years in the 70's. I lived in Canada near the Windsor/Detroit border. All bands came to Detroit and they either played at Cobo Hall or Joe Louis Arena. Ticket prices were from 7dollars to 20 dollars for the good seats lol. It was common for my friends to drive to Windsor, hop on the tunnel bus that brought you to Detroit and we would walk to the venues. I enjoyed all concerts. Mingling with Americans was fun. I saw bands like Journey, Rod Stewart, J. Geils, Supertramp, The Who, AC/DC, Foghat, The Steve Miller Band, Aerosmith and ZZ Top. There is probably more but I cannot remember lol ... It was a great time to grow up in!

One of my absolute favorite concert memories was when I went to see the Jonas Brothers when I was younger. I was such a huge fan of them at the time and I totally freaked out when we got there. I remember my mom coming up to my friend and I telling us to come with her to the bathroom and we were like "Um why? We wanna go inside" Thank goodness we did go with her. It turns out someone gave her two wristbands that allowed you to meet the band so my friend and I, along with my parents got in the line and got to meet the Jonas Brothers!! The concert after that was absolutely fantastic with the appearance of Demi Lovato at the show (this was a little bit before Camp Rock 2 aired). We also got a preview of the song Introducing Me from the movie Camp Rock 2. This is a memory I will always cherish.

Funny as it sounds, but Hannah Montana. Let me be clear, not ,Miley Cyrus, but Hannah Montana. Growing up I was the biggest Hannah Montana fan ever. It just so happened that she was performing in Nevada a few cities away from mine. Words cant express the gratitude I had towards my parents for letting me go to Hannah Montana, and having that be the best concert and first concert of mine ever. Looking back I am definitely not a fan of her music anymore, but in my most innocence moments of childhood i admired her. During the concert I had all the Hannah Montana swag on and was screaming and cheering her on so loudly that my throat went sore the following day. I will never forget the bright lights and thousands of bodies pressed up against mine. :)

When I was in college, my favorite concert was in the gymnasium when Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey came to entertain us. My then boyfriend/fiance and I got to harmonize with them and that was the coolest time ever. Mary couldn't come because she was home with her child. But the 2/3 of Peter, Paul and Mary were a real hit and the most fun I ever had. No wonder the next summer we had a friend from another rock group sing Stookey's wedding song at our wedding.

The year was 1980, a warm June evening. The place, San Diego State University Amphitheater, I was 17 and the show was Judas Priest's British Steel tour.
Not a lot of people had not heard of Judas Priest at this point in time, so the amphitheater was less that half full and people were spread out with three seat full then five empty next to them and two empty rows below. We had great seats and most of the front area seats were sold out.
The lights went down and fog began to cover the stage. The sound of a Harley Davidson revving up, louder and louder. The band started playing the intro to Hell Bent For Leather, the lights lite up and Rob Halford rode that Harley onto the stage. When they were done with that first song, Halford started talking to the audience. He looked out onto the people sitting spread out and said, " What is all this space between you and us? This is Rock and Roll, This is a Party" and he motioned for us to rush the stage. The bouncers look at us going towards them as the next song, 'The Ripper" began. They then look and Rob with a "WTF?" look on their faces. He just shrugged at them and started singing.

Well, I have never been to a concert, But I have been to Sunburn an event like Tommorowland full of djs.The venue of the festival was in Goa, but it somehow got re located to pune, had to cancel every booking I had, and it was a turn off.But then we went to pune and we had loads of fun specially on 31st December when KSHMR was the DJ, and at the midnight 12 those beautiful fireworks,I consider it as my best new year and my best concert till date yes.
