This Mardi Gras parade float is dedicated to the New Orleans’ Krewe of Iris. The Krewe of Iris celebrates the rainbow goddess, Iris and the lovely purple Iris flower. My Yo is depicted as the Queen of the Krewe of Iris. The Krewe of Iris is celebrating their centennial this year! They are my absolute favorite!
