I discovered Yo early on in its existence — right around the time I had serious spinal surgery. For more than a year, I was trapped in my house, mostly spending my time in a chair that gave me only a small, triangular view of my (very messy) living room. But thanks to the Yo world, I was able to design perfect rooms, wander through the Yo town, go fishing, travel the world (thanks to international themes), and meet people from other countries... all while ensconced in my chair.
I am eternally grateful, because I don't know how I would have gotten through that experience without my Yo world and my Yo friends. I owe my sanity and my recovery to Yo, which is why I fought so hard to save it when the time came a few years later.
