The best for me was The Crystal Method. I won the tickets first off. I got to do a meet and greet which extended to hanging out in the VIP with them all night. I'd always wanted to see them live since my bf talked about how much he loved the show and...we got to go together :D

My first concert was that of Francis Cabrel  he brushed his best titles during 2h. Nothing more to add, just that when we love music it is always good.

My sister and I went to see a show in Brooklyn. We were told that we MUST VACATE the venue after the show because Odesza had another show later that evening, and it was a totally separate (and more exclusive) event. After the indie band played, security started ushering everyone out.

"But we had a plan. We ended up hiding behind a fire exit door for 30 minutes, then the bathrooms for another 30 minutes. Then sound check ended, and the next audience started trickling in. Once 10 or so people had come inside, we emerged from our cave and joined the crowd at the bar. The tequila shots flowed. Soon, Odezsa came on, and we were in the front row. We danced like crazy people until the wee hours." :trophy: :trophy: :trophy: :trophy: :trophy:    :) :) :) :D I remembered it like it was yesterday.

My mom introduced me to the music of Barry Manilow when I was a child. I've loved him (his singing etc) since I was about 8 or 9. The two of us went to several of his concerts over the years when he'd show in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Of all of the concerts we went to The Swing Street Tour was my favorite. It was the closest to the stage our seats had ever been. We were about 5 rows up the side. It felt so close that I could touch him. I couldn't but it was awesome.

But truthfully when all is said and done....as much as I love Barry and his music the concerts were all amazing because I went with my mom. This is a common interest we've shared for 40 years now. Thanks mom.

I was sheltered( :nerd: ) and did not go to many concerts(something I regret now) I love all types of music, but back in the day, my husband and I went to a nearby city to see Chicago and Beach Boys. They both put on super concerts and at the end played a song or two together

the best concert i've been to was The Amity Affliction. i went last october and had the time of my life. there were great opening bands and the view i had from the upper balcony was amazing. there was even some random dude who kept sneaking back in, and you could tell he was on some kind of drugs :quiet: , but he was just dancing and moshing and having a great time. it was so loud that i couldn't even hear myself singing (more like screaming) along to the music. i couldn't hear right for a few days after and didn't even mind. i got my brother and i their tour shirts so i'll never forget it!

Where to begin, that is the question. When I was about 9, my mom took me to see Donovan at the Fillmore West in San Francisco in the 60's. But some of my faves were Frank Zappa with a full orchestra behind him. I was in the orchestra pit, and was within 6 feet of him. Then there was Alice Cooper, where i was between the stage and the first row. I was handed a drum stick. At an Aerosmith in Las Vegas Nevada, I was in the first row, and after the show, Joey Kramer handed me a Get a Grip drum stick. But bar none, in 83' at the US Festival in San Bernadino CA. Apple computers put on the festival and David Bowie was the headliner. There were hundreds of thousands of people there. He had not played in the United States for five years. Oh, I almost seeing forgot that I saw Bob Dylan with Tom Petty as his band at the Pacific Amphitheater in Newport Beach CA. My boyfriend and I had one good seat and one grass seat. We would take turns going back and fourth. That is only a very small portion of the shows Ive been able to see through my many years of concert going. On a note, when I was cruising the web, I found a site that asked for memories of the US Festivals. I didn't know it but the site was run by none other than Steve Wozniak, the founder of the home computer. I wrote of being able to take showers each night because I would sneak into the staff trailer. To my surprise, I got an email from Steve himself, thanking me for the memories. It was magic! :trophy:

My first ever Concert was to see Keane in my hometown, Liverpool, UK I went with a friend and the experience was Amazing... Live music is the best, hearing the beat of your favorite song going through your body and feeling the beat of your heart along with the base. Absolutely magical will never forget that memory :D

One concert I went to in New Zealand a few years back, was a free concert that The Searchers played, it was a gold coin donation which went to charity as per usual for them.. Afterwards my friends and I went to the local pub and in the bar walked in Frank Allen one of The Searchers as a fellow Brit it was nice talking with him and buying him a few drinks thanking him for a great evening...

About 15 years ago I was fishing at my friends Dads place when it didn't click to whom his dad was until he drove up and got out of his car, Roger Daltrey from The Who we were at his house fishing in his lake, I had told him I had seen him live a few years ago.... He went and spent time with my hubby teaching him to flyfish...

I have been to see the Drifters and Rose Royce at different concerts in Portsmouth, Yazoo in the 80s which were good but the best must have been Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite we watch it in Germany, it was a worldwide live satellite broadcast of a concert, I was only 7 at the time as I loved him and so did my parents I remember that as if it was yesterday...

In 2015, I went to a BMTH (Bring Me The Horizon) concert in UK, Reading Festival. Nowwww, let me tell you, it was the best concert i've ever been to in my life. BMTH played like beasts and the crowd was so wild. There was so many people it was unbelievable. (me being only like 5"1, I nearly got separated from my friends which was so scary). I absolutely love BMTH, they're one of my favourite bands and i'd love to watch them live again! Me and my friends had such a fantastic time. It was one hell of a day.
:phew:
I suggest you check them out if you love rock/metal (idk the exact genre oops). My favourite song by them is called 'Can you feel my heart' it's the first song I heard by them and I still love it too this day.

The best concert ever was seeing Glen Campbell twice on his Goodbye Tour in 2012. I had second row seats and got to see him close-up and fabulous! Although he had memory issues and stumbled through some of the songs, his daughter helped get him back on track. His vocals were amazing and the entire audience was aware it was seeing a legend perform. I will forever cherish the memories of seeing this true star in his final performances.

I've been to many amazing concerts but two stick out more than the rest. My absolute favorite was an outdoor concert with the Moody Blues and the San Diego Symphony playing along. It was spectacular! The stage setting was at San Diego Harbor, to our left was the ocean and sail boats were coming in from a day out on the ocean. The sun was setting as we sat with our bellies full of the most delicious dinner at the restaurant just behind us. We were sitting comfortably on chairs on the grass as the sun lowered below the horizon, the San Diego Symphony quietly began to play as smoke filled the stage.
We could hear a low voice saying through the speaker system
"Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room.
Bedsitter people look back and lament,
Another day's useless energy spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none.
New mother picks up and suckles her son,
Senior citizens wish they were young.
Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white,
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion???" the voice finished reciting the spoken lyrics, the symphonic music gradually rose in volume and then the Moody Blues appeared on stage as the smoke cleared, singing and playing their instruments, their amazing music filled the air as the stars began to show in the sky and the bright sunset turned to dark purple then black. The entire audience was stunned in silence, goosebumps and aw. I can still feel the ocean air on my face.

A nice gift that I was made. A place in the front row for a great gentleman Thomas dutronc who seems to have spent two good hours without being seen passing amid his delusions with his musicians (splendid besides) and his solos or improvisations that arise anywhere. A real surprise, I recommend it for all lovers of the
guitar.

My Best Concert ever was when I went to see Def Leppard in concert. They had just released Pyromania and I went with my best friend in college. Billy Squire was the opening act and it was THE best time!!! Great concert and my best friend. What could get better than that? ;) :D

My number one favorite was Greg Allman, I must have seen him ten times loved him so much, he started playing at a young age and went through many hardships in his life, he beat his drug addiction which was awesome but had great music and wrote most of what he sang, most songs were things about his life, when he recorded Sweet Melissia he did not have a name for the title and went into a store at night and the clerk had her granddaughter there with her and when he hear the grandmother call her name he said thats it Sweet Melissa. loved him so much, He was one of the many people I had the luck to see in my life time .

When we think of concerts we imagine the life of the party... hands thrown up with the people singing and jumping with joy while enjoying the great music.

When you ask me, what was the best concert had you ever been to? Well, it isnt the coachella that you expect but a concert to celebrate the resilience of a country that celebrates the courage and bravery after a storm. I attended this concert in the Kennedy Center, Washington D.C circa 2014, it was a benefit concert to contribute The Philippines after the Yolanda Typhoon hit the south, ruined thousands of homes, separated families and as the country lies in the ring of fire, the people kept their spirits strong and brave. On the other side of the world, we show sympathy to those who have been affected. The night of the concert, the halls fill a diversified crowd... people dressed with elegance and evidently the night was poured with fine luxury. Great wine and hors d'oeuvres. Inside the Theater the Orchestra plays beautifully. The highlight of the night was Lea Salonga which is my favorite above all singers. True talent to be remembered as a legend. The funds that was raised from the concert were sent to the victims after the storm. In a world of chaos, Resilience is what matters. Music sings to our souls for healing.

Easy, it was my 1st concert, Lynyrd Skynyrd it was before the Tragic Plane Crash in 1977.
So it was the original band members.

Plus, I have just got my drivers license. So my best friend and neighbor jumped in and drove to see them.
So you could say not only my 1st concert was with a fabulous band, but I drove too ~ Great memories.

Thanks
