My First Concert Spring, 1982. The Santa Monica Civic Audiotorium in Southern California. My first rock concert: Joan "I Love Rock and Roll" Jett. I was only 16 and so excited.

There were so many people there. It was overwhelming but at the same time exhilarating. I didn't know what to expect. But I knew I wanted to be there. I was wearing my standard uniform, the one I thought exuded teenage-rebellion: black jeans, black t-shirt and a black jacket. Yeah, I looked cool (or at least I thought did!). My friend Debbie was dressed in black, too. She thought she looked cool, too.

The doors opened to the audiotorium. But before we could actually get inside, we were stopped and had to be searched. Of course we had a couple of joints with us. We panicked. Where to hide them? Debbie thought to hide them in her jeans, tucked into the waistline. Ha! We thought we were so sneaky. We cleared security but went to the bathroom before trying to find a spot on the floor of the audiotorium (there weren't any seats).

We found a good spot, not too far from the stage. The lights dimmed. The roar of the crowd ripped through the building. A light shown on the stage and there before us was our rock and roll goddess, Joan Jett.

Joan played a long concert. It was so great to see her in person. To experience being a part of something incredible, rock and roll.

When it was time to leave, we walked out and I could not hear! My ears were ringing so bad. I honestly thought I had messed-up my hearing. Thankfully, the ringing went away.

So aside from almost losing my hearing, the experience of my first concert is something I cherish. I was young, going through my rebellious stage, and basically trying to discover who I was. One thing I did discover was that I loved rock and roll, and still do. It's in my soul and DNA. And Ms Jett, I thank you for being part of that experience.

P.S.: Through the years I've been able to attend several more of Joan Jett's concert. She still plays loud and still kicks ***

My best concert memory ever was recently. As a college student, I was very distracted easy so when my classmates were all noisy and talked to much, I plugged in my headphones to the computer and played Ricky Scaggs on Youtube.

So for the concert I heard that Ricky Scaggs and Kentucky Thunder were coming to Renfro Valley. So I bought tickets then asked my Aunt and Cousin if they wanted to go. So the day of the concert showed up and I was excited. Looked all nice. I bought my Aunt a thank you present for driving and going with me.

We went to Arbys and I paid for it. Then we walked around Renfro Valley. The show doors opened and we grabbed are seats. It was a amazing show. But the greatest part was when it ended and we all got to meet him. When I saw him, I told him thank you. That he had helped me in my college classes and I was sooooo happy. I cried and said God bless and thank you. I hugged and got a photo with him. If I could post a photo I would

In 2012 My Best Memory Concert ever was watching Annie Lennox in Toronto Canada at the Royal Alexandra Hall. The concert was so amazing , and her music is so fun to listen and dance to it. Annie Lennox is a great artist , she has done a lot of charity , but the one that has been close to her heart is pregrant mothers in Africa dying of Aids. The concert she did in Toronto Canada all the money goes to it. She is very talented in her music. I am big fan of her. She use to be the lead singer in the band in the 1980s as Eurythmics.Ann "Annie" Lennox, OBE (born 25 December 1954) is a Scottish singer, songwriter, political activist and philanthropist. After achieving moderate success in the late 1970s as part of the new wave band The Tourists, she and fellow musician David A. Stewart went on to achieve major international success in the 1980s as Eurythmics. With a total of eight Brit Awards, including Best British Female Artist six times, Lennox has won more than any other female artist. She has also been named the "Brits Champion of Champions".[1]

Lennox embarked on a solo career in 1992 with her debut album, Diva, which produced several hit singles including "Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass". To date, she has released six solo studio albums and a compilation album, The Annie Lennox Collection (2009). Aside from her eight Brit Awards, she has also collected four Grammy Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. In 2002, Lennox received a Billboard Century Award; the highest accolade from Billboard Magazine.[2] In 2004, she won both the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Into the West", written for the soundtrack to the feature film The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

In addition to her career as a musician, Lennox is also a political and social activist, notable for raising money and awareness for HIV/ AIDS as it affects women and children in Africa. In 2011, Lennox was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for her "tireless charity campaigns and championing of humanitarian causes". On 4 June 2012 she performed at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert in front of Buckingham Palace. Lennox performed the song "Little Bird" during the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony in London on 12 August 2012.

Lennox has been named "The Greatest White Soul Singer Alive" by VH1 and one of The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone. In 2012, she was rated No. 22 on VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music. She has earned the distinction of "most successful female British artist in UK music history" due to her commercial success since the early 1980s. As of June 2008, including her work within Eurythmics, Lennox had sold over 80 million records worldwide. The highlight of the contest was I waited one hour to see her out side back door , I saw her got her autograph on poster of her , and I also her kiss her on the checks it was the best moment I had. I thank my brother who got the tickets for me. Sadly this year on July 1 he had pass age of 45 RIP brother .

It was my very first concert that i had been to. Kool and the gang and my new boyfriend was taking me. i was so excited to go so i let him drive my car. At the time i lived in an apartment with parking under small 2 car covered spaces. He started the car an began to back out, and i guess he was excited to he got half way out and turned the wheel. oh did i forget to say it was a brand new car, i had only had it for 2 weeks, well when he turned the wheel he hit a pole with the front fender. he begged me not to get out and look, that he would fix it tomorrow as he was an auto repairman. well on we went to the concert and did have a great time. we have been married 29 years and love every minute

My best concert memory is from the 60s. I went to see Donovan. It was as much fun to see all the people coming in wearing awesome 60s outfits as it was to hear the music. One girl was covered in yellow feathers. Donovan left us feeling the love and peace of that era. It was fantastic.

I have three that all tie.

My first concert was FrnkIero andthe Cellabration with openers Jared Haart, Rogery Harvey and the Wildlife, and The Frights. It was wild. I even got in my first mosh pit. But the best memory from that concert is when Frank played 'Guilttripping" and the whole crowd went silent before singing along while head banging and crying. It was beautiful and made an amazing first experience.

The second on this list was, like, my seventh concert. I saw Thursday with openers Basement and Touche Amore for my Spring Break during my first year of college. It was crazy! After Thursday played "Understanding In A Car Crash" I couldn't hear out of my left ear for two minutes! My ears rang for three days after that and everyone at my college was worried that I'd have hearing issues (I'm a music major, so that's a huge thing.) I still can't listen to Thursday's recorded stuff because it was so good live.

The last is the most recent concert I went to, FrnkIero andthe Patience. My mom (I'm a dork, but she's really punk rock, so I took her) snuck me into the VIP bar, and I met Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), Mikey Way(MCR), Ray Toro(MCR), Jimmy Urine (Mindless Self Indulgence and he was in Guardians of the Galaxy 2), Lyn-Z (MSI), and Bert McCracken (The Used). It was so amazing. They're all very nice people, by the way. If you're emo, I suggest you meet them because they practically invented emo.

I am an "older" player and AC/DC was having their Thunderstruck tour in Philadelphia, Pa. My brother and a bunch of our friends had tickets, but I was broke and couldn't go. They were even chartering a bus and I was so disappointed. My brother was in charge of holding everyone's paid tickets until the event. Two weeks before the concert one of the guys that was supposed to go was in a car accident and was killed instantly. We were all upset, he was such a good guy. It was just two days before the concert and my brother came to me and said "Everyone talked about it and we want to give you Bob's ticket!" Yes, I went to see AC/DC on a dead man's ticket! We celebrated Bob the whole way down and back on the bus and took up a collection to tip the driver for not seeing what was happening in the bus ;)

Let me say it was the first time I have been to any concert – Inception Fete / Concert to be specific located in Saint Kitts. So this fete is what we Caribbean people describes as [ :D MASS sweet sweet MAS <3]. It is a 12 hour concert that starts around 9 or 10 in the night and consists of many different types of music, artists, and Djs with unique performances. I would say the best part for many people …. Maybe even me... is the all you can drink part so you know at the end of your 12 hours you will be feeling good…. I REALLY INVITE EVEYONE TO COME ESPECCIALLY HOW IT IS AROUND CARNIVAL TIME.

so my favourite concert was Adele she really is someone you know she is her own person she might write songs about heartbreaks and stuff but maybe its because shes trying to tell us that fries before guys lmao some of us thinks that she is too depressed but underneath theres an unbreakable soul ,it will never shatter and will never ever feel sadness or frustration :heartbroken: if u think that im just writing that because i really want the prize you couldnt be more wrong i mean i do want the prize but thats not the point the point is all im trying to say is i had alot of breakups whenever i feel broken adele brings me back together she sticks the pieces back together she is soo special if i had one word to describe how amazing she is it would be unbreakable she may be a regular english singer/song writer to you but if you dont know she graduated from the brit school for performing arts and technology in 2006 ,she was also given a record by xl recordings so now you see how special she is and yea ofcourse she has her bad sides but doesnt everyone because no one is perfect cause its overrated i really hope you choose me you would really help me it was an honor writing for you thankyou sooo much xoxo. :D

The best concert I ever went too was when Me and my husband went to see REO Speedwagon in Ecanaba Michigan. This was my first ever concert I was 40 yrs old. I had such a blast with my husband we enjoyed the concert. We do not drink so that mad the concert even more enjoyable, however there were plenty of drinkers there. It was so funny to watch them fall over the chairs. After the concert we had VIP pass and I was able to see my favorite group in person. :D Now ten yrs latter at age 50 i still think about the fun I had, and the memories.

My best concert ever must be Paramore's Writing the Future in 2015. When I entered, the whole room was full of people with different styles and genders. The show was pretty awesome. We were screaming nonstop while Hayley Williams was doing her hair whips. There were a lot of flashbacks because they sang old songs that I used to listen to when I was in the elementary school. I felt the vibes get even better when people joined me to scream. It was a splendid experience and I'll definitely go through it if I could.

I've only been to one concert, and it was amazing. On July 25th, my favorite band Anthem Lights came to the California state fair to perform. A few hours before the show, me and my friends saw them getting off one of the rides and we got to meet them and get a picture. Later, we got tickets to see them live. We were in the fourth row, which were some pretty good seats.

My best concert memory was the KISS Concert in 2011 Here in Houston at Reliant/NRG Stadium. The stadium had about 75,000 people. It was so much fun!! had some popcorn, cotton candy, and even bought a lightsaber :eh: lol! A family member of mine was even able to take a video of some of the concert. The concert was about 2 hours long. Oh my gosh, they also have a great carnival and the bus ride home was about 2 hours so I got to stay up till 1:00AM. It was so much fun!!

My fave concert was given free by Academy Award winner Kevin Costner!!!! It was in Ventura, California and I actually stood no more than two feet away from him as he walked down a red carpet to endorse his movie Swing Vote! It was so awesome and he is so handsome.
I also in the past enjoyed concerts by John Denver, the last one I ever got to see :wailing: in the mountains and I got to sit so close to the stage I could actually see him for once! It is such a dear memory to me because now he is gone and his music was so beautiful (and still is). :'(
