Hey YoFans!

Juuuust wow. Seriously, check out the winners and amazing entries from last week';s challenge. You guys are amazing.

For Week 32, we thought we'd remind you that Mother's Day is this weekend! (For some countries, anyway.) This Fanpage Feature Challenge theme is Mother's Day! Celebrates moms and those who fill the role of 'mom' in an awesome creation.

This week, 7 winners will each get a prize of 40 YoCash, and have their designs featured on our Fan Page. The deadline for entry is next MONDAY, May 15th at 12:00pm NOON (EDT).

    • Include a link to your decorated room, so we can come visit!

Happy Mother's Day! So many ways to be a mother - your children, adoptive children, honorary children, pets, sponsored child, etc! So here's my homage to being a mother and all the stress that comes with it LOL! Because when you have kids, it all becomes about them. And 'me' time? Forget it. Your eyebrows will NOT be plucked, your eyes WILL have rings and darkness around them because you don't sleep, and the closest your hair comes to looking like you were at Vidal Sassoon is if a blowdryer with that name brand gets caught in it. :haha:

I promised I would never do this again because *I left all that behind*.. *but*.. I happen to have a room that I've never used toward anything . It's one of my pictograms and it could fit the theme rather well IMO. I'm sorry that I have to use it this once.
(p.s It's the simplest one I've ever done, there is nothing intimidating here at all)

I know nothing of the experience of motherhood. But I know mothers are the ultimate hard workers who make many sacrifices to bring up children. It's not an easy job. We're not always easy to love and a mother loves unconditionally . A good mother supports and stands by us in the utmost difficult times in life, against all odds. That's why I'm wishing all mothers an important day full of rest and and roses and margaritas. You are beautiful!! Happy Mother's Day! :heart: :heart: :heart:

Every year ( well, maybe not every year) my children asks me the same question. After thinking about it, I decided I'd give them my real answer:
What do I want for Mother's Day? I want you. I want you to keep coming around, I want you to bring your kids around, I want you to ask me questions, ask my advice, tell me your problems, ask for my opinion, ask for my help. I want you to come over and rant about your problems, rant about life, whatever. Tell me about your job, your worries, your kids, your fur babies. I want you to continue sharing your life with me. Come over and laugh with me, or laugh at me, I don't care. Hearing you laugh is music to me.
I spent the better part of my life raising you the best way I knew how. Now, give me time to sit back and admire my work.
Raid my refrigerator, help yourself, I really don't mind. In fact, I wouldn't want it any other way. I want you to spend your money making a better life for you and your family, I have the things I need. I want to see you happy and healthy. When you ask me what I want for Mother's Day, I say "nothing" because you've already been giving me my gift all year. I want you.

As the mother of three children, one of the greatest joys for me was reading to each of them when they were little. Oh, the exciting adventures we took! Books have a truly magical way of transporting us into the story to allow us to feel as though we are right there, living the tale. In this scene, my daughter and I have been transported into our bedtime story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, a favorite story of all of my children.

Working on this room let me take a wonderful trip down memory lane, remembering so many happy times with my children and my own mother, who used to read to me, too when I was little.

I used to say, 'Every day is Mother's Day", but one day a year, my kids tried hard to be good (good luck with that!), and colored me special pages, roughly ripped out of their coloring books and gave me the best-ever home made cards. They always wanted to take me somewhere special too. Riding bumper cars is every mother's dream! :-)

In the honor of Mother's Day, I've made this first floor room-house out of Ile Du Soleil. I also have a second floor but not sure if I'm allowed to post.
Being a homemaker(housewife), she takes care of the whole house all alone. She loves gardening and cooking. :heart:
