Hey YoFans,

As mentioned in our most recent episode of the YoWorld Update, we've begun a new initiative that's sure to show all of you just how much we love what you bring to YoWorld - let's hear it for YoFan Fridays!!

YoFan Fridays will showcase the many different ways YoFans play YoWorld. Whether you're here to decorate, to dress up, to trade, to organize, just to hang out and socialize, or whatever other way you've found - we want to celebrate YOU. We're aiming to launch a new showcase every single Friday, but in order to do that... We're going to need some help.

If you know of a player or a group of players who deserve to be recognized for their contributions to Yo, we want to hear from you!

Please post your nominations for future YoFan Fridays right here in this thread. Be sure to include the player or group's name as well as a brief description of why they deserve recognition.

Every week we will choose a player or group, either from our own Yo experiences or this very thread - and we'll share their amazing contributions on the YoWorld Forums and on the Facebook Fanpage (and anywhere else that might make sense) for all to see!

So, what are you waiting for? Get writing! We're really eager to read all of your amazing nomination stories.

I'd like to nominate the Yoworld Fun Rush group ... Liam , Emmy & Nite and many others YFR members are the most generous people i've ever met .. super nice and extremely down to earth .. I was lucky to win few expensive prizes from their contest page .. (5m ) from Liam was super helpful since i was just few weeks back and kinda broke .. That's the least i can do 4 them in return .. I love u guys u ROCK

I want to nominate ALL the players of our donation group "YoWorld VIP Donations Exchange"
Its a small group but you can feel the LOVE! We all help each other there for FREE never charge for any item. I try to donate items to other groups to ensure that we players can get the stuff we need. The economy in Yo is not the greatest at the moment so a lot of players are struggling but when we all have each others back its an awesome experience!
My sister Maddie Aponte and I run the page. She work so very hard to keep the page running. She is amazing! and I want to say Thank You so much for all you do through all this 7 years of friendship. we are blessed to have such a beautiful people in our group and that make us work harder!
So, I want to say thank you so much to all our 88 members, you know who you are and all you do for YoWorld and I also want to nominate my Yo Mom Stephanie Maldonado ... This is an awesome idea, and I would like to nominate YoWorld VIP: Donations Exchange and all it's members. We might be a small group, but we're more than just random people from around the world. We have become family. We're there for each other inside of YoWorld and outside into our personal lives.My sister Gira Garcia had started a Facebook page where we had thousands of fans, but then one day we decided to open a group, where we will help each other without charging a yocoin to anyone. It's our way of giving back to the community.

I want to nominate Captain YoHero!!!!! He has always been there when I needed help with anything in game or trying to do something in forums. I see he is always trying to help other players in forums with answers and gifts (yes, he gifted me with a SUPER GIFT THAT I WANTED!!!!!) . He is a very kind hearted, giving person no matter what is going on in his life. If you are friends with Captain YoHero, you are 1 very lucky Yo!
He has made some very fun videos including many Yo's who want to join. His nature is to give, give and give. Love ya Capt! I hope he wins!!!!

Yes for Captain Yohero. Very helpful and just around.

I nominate DianaBanana. She is conscience of our forum. She is always fair and helps other players. I have never seen her joined any drama. She is also one of yoangels.

I would love to nominate our very own Hot Rod. I don't know him personally but he has always voiced the things I was never able to say or was afraid to say. He speaks for a lot of the yofans when something just isn't right you can count on him to be right on top of it, keeping the Vikings on their toes!

Not to mention I love to see the funny names he comes up with, puts a smile on this girl's face.

Hot Rod, this one's for you! Keep on being you, no matter what!

My Nomination is not one person, but a group I call family., the Yoworld Fire Dept. YFD for short. It is not a club, but a service organization who educates, Helps others, and has a strong belief in the almighty. This group is not only a service organization, it is a close family unit with one member complimenting another. THe aceptance of others, the love for what the members are doing and the commitment is only part of what makes this group special. Anti bullying, Cancer Support Center, Fun and Games, Say no to Drugs, Cheer and sunshine, Security are all pieces of this group that makes it what it is. If you want to recognize Yo Fan Friends, you have to look no further than YFD and its Assistant Chief Ivana Montique and it members.

Few years back I was diagnosed with cancer. In real life this Yo guy brought me food, cleaned my house, and even let me stay with him while I was getting over chemo. In Yo he helped me decorate my apartments (ever tried decorating on Skype?!) and was always giving me things! While I was messing around on Yo I didn't have to think about how much pain I was in or the other crap going on in my life. This dude threw me a YoBirthday party to take my mind off things. Before it was YoWorld he campaigned like a madman to save the game because he's passionate about Yo. His rooms are off the chain! His style is always on! More than this, though, his is GINORMOUS! I'm nominating my best YoPal and real life friend Dex Dexter!

I like to nominate YoRehab agents. I will certainly miss YoRehab, for me it was the 'go to' when I needed to find out what items were in a certain theme or the name of an item especially for themes I missed. It was great for checking what items I still needed when collecting from a theme. It was nice to have a guide price which gave me an idea of a ball park price when I had no idea what something was worth. Even in the last few days since it went 'down' it has impacted my game. I'd like to thank again the agents who dedicated so much of their time to help players like me. It is very much appreciated and I believe it will be a huge loss to many YoWorld players. Rarely do I find people who serve a community without any 'gain' to themselves and which often can be a thankless task. Kudos to all who kept this site afloat for so long. You all rock

I'd like to nominate a group of YoWorld artists that are a part of an initiative called: YO CHANEL
These ladies are also a part of a yo-organization called "The Memoirs Co.", and I'll be sure to leave links to both of their FB pages below!

These very talented individuals have evidently raised the bar when it comes to making fun little yo-graphics - which in of itself is a very prominent part of the extensive gameplay on YoWorld! I feel that they deserve a lot of credit for shedding some light on how possible it is to create such stunning visuals with our adorable Yo-Avatars. They really take the whole "creating an outfit" aspect of the game to a new level when they twist and turn the avatars in cute, quirky ways, or when they find stunning backgrounds to complement the entire ensemble. They even made a cute video showcasing several of their art works consisting of notable YoFans sporting the recent 1940's New York theme! These gals have made some REALLY neat stuff!

I know these ladies have really inspired me to step up my YoWorld graphic-making game, and I can see that they have inspired many others as well! Those that don't wish to teach themselves how to produce content like the ladies of Yo Chanel/The Memoirs Co can simply buy their "merchandise" (if you will) from these ladies at very reasonable prices, making their services accessible to all!

Ultimately, I think these guys deserve major props and recognition for all of their creative ventures and artistic efforts! They have inspired and enriched the gameplay of many YoFans! From those that want a picture of their yo-avatar proposing to their loved one on YoWorld on a white board...to those that run "giveaway pages" that require some graphical assistance, to those that are super invested in more of the "role-play" aspects of this game, and likewise want intricate graphics to be made so that they may be implemented on their corresponding YoWorld Facebook pages... the ladies of Yo Chanel have got us all covered!
