We are looking for Traditional Halloween theme suggestions! Use this thread to contribute your DREAM Traditional Halloween Theme!

Include the theme, what the house will look like, including what the outside looks like, what rooms will be included, and what rooms will look like!

As an example, a suggestion for a Traditional House could include these types of rooms:

• House Front
• Foyers/Hallways
• Bedrooms
• Bathrooms
• Kitchen/Dining Room
• Basement
• Backyard

We generally have about 4-7 decor releases and can’t (tragically) find enough decor to fill a 30 room mansion, so choose wisely!

For the traditional theme, I would love to have a fully neon/LED decorated house. It would be a great idea to try to add traditional items/decorations for Halloween, but with a twist.

LED colors (+decorations) in the house can be in purple/ green / orange / blue (colors showing in the pictures below)
I would like to see lots of animated/interactive skeletons dancing (with neon colors coming from the inside)
A graveyard with lightings all over it (example in the pictures below)

First - that picture of "traditional" Halloween is a sad , sad, mistake .... There are NO pink/shabby shriek items in traditional Halloween!! ... Please, for the love of all is Halloween, NO SHABBY Vomit Pink stuff

Traditional Halloween would be wonderful, think along the lines of "A great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" with new jack-o-lanterns, spiders & webs, creeky doors, trick or treaters (maybe also even an in game event), Haloween party items, candy buckets and bags, witches, bats, black cats, flickering candles, cauldrons (like the cool old ones), candy bars (that you can actually see on the screen ) LOTS of decorations !!!
Think of the HAUNTED HOUSE 2009 !!! front and back yards, LOTS of FULL Costumes in STORES (for people who like to wait and see what is all coming out) NOT just pieces of costumes on limited timers/YC

OMGoodness, please do not destroy another Halloween ....dead

Pierre, the neon idea is cool and unique. I'd be intrigued to see how that would render. I especially like the 1st photo.

Pastels HAVE NEVER been traditional colors

I'm not into bloody Halloween so I'll let those who like that stuff speak out on what they want.

ADORE the neon Halloween!!

Give us creepy, spooky, gory HALLOWEEN. Haunted items, Houses with more than a few simple rooms and more than one basic outdoor area that don't cost a ridiculous amount of YC (like these tiny simple houses that do.) I'll gladly pay old YC house prices (30YC+) for old house quality houses (Haunted Castle, 2009 Haunted House etc.) NO MORE CUTESY STUFF PLEASE unless it is a specific thing like Peanuts Great Pumpkin, or Hocus Pocus. Maybe bust out some Munsters, more Addams Family, more of The Shining would be AMAZING, The Haunting Of Hill House. You could do more than two themes (3 themes, 6 weeks? Two full themes and two mini themes, 6 weeks?) even, one being a "Traditional Halloween" theme and one being Halloween movies/shows, and one or two being horror/scary/sci-fi movies/shows etc. There is no reason we have to have only two weeks of themes. I'm sure even people that don't care for Halloween might like the movie/tv show bits like The Great Pumpkin or The Twilight Zone. IMO this would make an epic Halloween season.
As far as the Spooky and Traditional Halloween themes go, I kind of think maybe they don't need to be separate cohesive themes per say. Halloween itself has decor and costumes all over the pace. This is what really feels like a true Halloween theme to me. Like shopping at Halloween stores IRL.

Yes I understand you can't just do the movies and shows directly, but these themes could be inspired by them.

We have not had a traditional Halloween Costume Party theme since 2014. I think it is time for some fun Halloween costumes....you could ask players for suggestions on just a costume thread to see what people want......I am going to post some party ideas.......

There are lots of options for decorations to go with this.....colors should be traditional and no pastel, please. This theme would also work with a design contest, but please do not sacrifice furniture for design stuff.
