HAUNTED CAMPING

I fell in love with the Camping suggestion in the poll, and I wanna explain how much I would love a haunted/spooky camping theme!
As a horror addict, most scary scenes happen outside. This theme would be a fave!!

Some item ideas:
Interactive tents with ghosts/monsters going inside with you.
Haunted trees with hidden figures moving.
Would adore an interactive flashlight that would go off - turning the whole room black and then eyes appearing and moving closer to you...
and... an interactive car, where your yo sits at the front, and someone from behind comes and attacks.
Bonfires, Ghost story interactive, so many amazing items can be done for this theme

ohhh.. and lots of shadows!!


An inside a tent overlay would be amazing.


Vibes:(would love an old haunted shack building too)


Trees with arms around:


Abandoned cars with doors opened .Maybe with dead passenger

How about a Gothic Halloween Horror Story?






On the home, there should be a driveway leading up to the gate. To the right or left should be a "room" leading to a cemetery. A grand, dark staircase once you open the crickety door.

Also indoors, a really large, dark overgrown cathedral- shaped conservatory that leads out into the graveyard.

Are the tenants dead or alive? Spirits? Human? No one's been brave enough to get close and find out.

Haunted Oddities

The premise for this theme is basically an eerie shop for haunted oddities that exists within a home that is an illusion run by an insane couple. The list of interactives and items within a theme like this is endless.

The House - Sell us a street storefront that is run down and mysterious. It should have creepy window displays on either side, with the rest of the house front being shades of gray.




Inside the house the first room is the actual store. It should have display cases and stand alone stuff. There should be a place for a spooky cash register and have an ornate staircase going up the back wall.







The rest of the house should include a dungeon, a potion lab, an owner's suite, and a dark alley that is also a dump for used "parts". These rooms should have weird furnishings and and ornate tables, altars, statues, paintings, skulls, dolls, saws, hooks, cases, class bottles of all sizes, an evil stove, a bubbling cauldron, smoke, wraiths, glowing ooze, interactive doors that transform and grab our avatars, interactive potions that we drink and turn into things, and nasty dirty oily barely transparent splotches in varying shades. The sky is literally the limit for item creation in a theme like this. And don't forget to make hideous cadaver NPCs. One could even have a slight twitch in its hand or neck.

The costumes for it would be of the evil shop keepers. Go crazy here, literally. You want the looks to be insane.

First - that picture of "traditional" Halloween is a sad , sad, mistake .... There are no pink/shabby shriek items in traditional Halloween!! ... Please, for the love of all is Halloween, NO SHABBY Vomit Pink stuff
SPOOKY Items and Themes are great!!!

But do not substitute "traditional Halloween" with PINK Crabby Shiek - there is a happy middle ground you miss every year....

Traditional Halloween would be wonderful, think along the lines of "A great Pumpkin Charlie Brown",
with new jack-o-lanterns, spiders & webs, creeky doors, trick or treaters (maybe also even an in game event), candy buckets and bags, Halloween party items, witches, bats, black cats, flickering candles, cauldrons (like the cool old ones), candy bars (that you can actually see on the screen ), carvable pumpkins, LOTS of decorations !!! Don't put out a house you don't plan on giving items for every room

Think of the HAUNTED HOUSE 2009 !!! front and back yards, Lots of FULL Costumes in STORES (for people who like to wait and see what is all coming out) NOT just pieces of costumes on limited timers/YC

OMGoodness, please do not destroy another Halloween ... dead

How about an Ancient Celts Samhain celebration. People would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.

I would love another round of Paranormal stuff BUT I would like a haunted Gothic house without the high-tech equipment. The house should be dark and appear abandoned
but you know someone or something is living there....

House possibilities:




The interior living area needs to have a dramatic staircase that ghosts can float down for effect:




The hallway needs to be foreboding....you never know what will come out of the walls!




Room possibilities:

We MUST have a haunted nursery!




A dramatic staircase leading to the attic that has a balcony!






I guess we also need normal rooms.....

Bedroom, kitchen and library options:

These pictures give an idea of the feel of the theme. It should be done in a gothic style and it needs to be dark with items that look old and well used.

We need a soundtrack with sounds of creaking and slamming doors, maniacal laughter, voices whispering, the sounds of footsteps and creaking floors, random screams sounds of someone crying/sobbing, owls hooting, thunder booming, and wolves howling.

We need:

* sheet-covered furniture
* paintings that hang slanted
* ghosts that look like they are coming out of the walls.
* floating items for different rooms, maybe floating then dropping to the floor. (pillow for bedroom, plates or cups for
kitchen, doll or toys from nursery....etc)
* Animated ghosts that appear and disappear that can be placed anywhere
* Mirror that when you click on it a figure appears behind you
* Windows with cracked glass and ghostly images on them.
* Gothic windows that are big and animated with lightening
* Chairs that slide by themselves.
* slow-moving white orbs
* shadow people
* frightening ghosts or demons that crawl out from under furniture
* scary dolls and haunted toys
* empty beds where the covers pull back slowly

Oh, why not? I mean it is Halloween after all......so let's go there...... I know it can't win, but let's try anyway!

Let's do Nightmare on the Farm!

In my version, Old Mac Donald is planting more than corn! His Creepy Corn Maze is the county's best attraction In the Fall, but oddly some never come out of the maze! Some say his corn is so good because of that "special fertilizer" he uses.......

House, Barn, and Corn Maze options:

House with a little bloody creek running behind it.....













All that corn needs a little tending and he gets his fertilizer for free……so he gets dressed to find his victims…er….volunteers and heads out to the corn maze when the guests arrive:





Once he has collected his quota for the night….time to process the “meat!” He changes clothes, don’t want to ruin his collection outfit!




and gets to work!








Even Momma and Sister helps! This is a family farm after all!






After all that hard work momma cooks a meal and they sit down to enjoy it!









They clean up real nice…….wonder what is in that dish…….




Oh!




And they all lived happily ever after…….

well, not all of them.

If you could combine AG's Gothic Halloween with mine on Gothic Halloween Horror Story that would be superb. Loving her images too.

I also love her idea of the nursery: remember those haunted dollhouse items from last year? Perfect additions to this idea.

I was thinking the same thing for traditional Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin .Shabby Shriek wasn't bad but oh my goodness those colors.
