Where do I start? At almost 52 years of age, I have a lot.

~People who say to do your research. Sorry, Karen, your Google search is not a medical degree.
~People who constantly ask me for a job (or samples) when they find out that I own a cannabis grow.
~Nosy neighbors who have no life so they feel the need to be in yours and just make it up as they go along.
~Anti-vaxxers. There's a reason that the WHO listed them as one of the top 10 global health threats.
~QAnon believers
~The "No Chemicals" group. You are made up of chemical elements, so take a seat and open a science book.
~People who say "That's MY truth". There's only THE truth and it doesn't belong to anyone.
~People who feel the need to try to command my dogs. Again, take a seat and STFU.
~Adults who answer a specific question as to why they do something with "I don't know". You are the only possible person who could know...and just know that if I ask you that question and you are one of my employees, you'll be in the unemployment line so fast that it will make your head spin.

I'll stop here because I could go on all day.

Do these count as pet peeves, or are they just general discontent with my lot in life? :eh: :?: Fibromyalgia ain't for the weak, that's for certain! :dizzy: No sleep yet, too much pain! o_o

I don't think this is an annoyance. This is a legit medical problem and I hope you get some relief soon. I don't have fibromyalgia but I do have osteonecrosis, so I know about pain. Believe that. I have nothing but loads of empathy for you.

I actually have a few more pet peeves.

~People who constantly try to "one-up" you. Life's not a freaking contest. Get an original thought and move on. My last name isn't Jones.
~People who try to tell me that cannabis cures cancer. Cannabis doesn't cure cancer. Radiation treatments can get rid of cancer. Chemotherapy can get rid of cancer. Cannabis, used in conjunction with common sense medical practices, can help out a lot with side effects...but it doesn't cure cancer.
~People who want to argue with you just for the sake of arguing. Be gone! I don't have time for that ridiculous BS.
~People who have to have a proverbial pat on the head so that they feel relevant. I'm not into stroking a grown-a$$ adult's ego. If you want something to be giving you all that, I'd suggest adopting a rescue dog.
~Liars. I despise people who have nothing better in life to do other than make stuff up. If your life is that boring, go out and do something about it...you ain't gotta lie to kick it.
~Neighbors who think that because your husband is a licensed journeyman electrician, that he is on call for all their screw ups because they won't listen when he tells them that they are overloading their panel. They are really going to have a hissy fit when he starts charging prevailing wage, I suppose. Maybe they will listen...
~People who ask my husband if he robbed the cradle (he's 13 years older than I am). No. He did not. I robbed the casket. JFC.
~Senior citizen neighbors who do not know how to manage their money and think that you're a savings and loan.
~People who get it twisted. They really pi$$ me off.

I'll leave it at this for today. Tomorrow, I'll probably have another list.

Thank you! I think my condition is progressing. o_o I've got other conditions that tend to be comorbid with fibromyalgia. (IBS, Endometriosis, and Ulcerative Colitis to name 3.) My nights and days are completely turned around now! I wasn't able to sleep until NOON yesterday! I've been up all of 2 hours! o_o Hopefully I can get in with the pain doctor again soon, and this time he'll actually listen to me instead of just throwing muscle relaxants at me! :grr

Ok back on topic, pet peeve... People who are rotten to cashiers and wait staff! :grr :grr :grr

Let's see...
Today's list of pet peeves/annoyances:

~People, in Facebook groups, who ask the same question that has already been asked 25 times before.

~People, in Facebook groups, who answer someone's question with the exact same thing that has already been answered by the first 25 people.

~People who try to disguise racism and bigotry and try to play the victim when they are called out on it.

~People, in YoWorld, who misuse the terms "worth" and "scammer". It's "worth" whatever someone wants to pay for it and it's virtually impossible to be scammed in this game if you have 2 connecting brain cells.

~Neighbors who think that they must wave at you every single time that they see you outside and wonder if you're mad at them because waving at them 50 times in a 4 hour span seems like a bit of overkill.

~People who can't take the hint when you don't answer your phone so they try calling from their spouse's phone instead. I own a business and I don't have time to simply shoot the breeze whenever you feel like it. I get it. You're old. You get social security. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to make some money for my social security account rather than listening to you rip on every other neighbor in the 'hood.

~The neighbors, who thing that they have to one-up everyone around here, and go out and get a couple of pot plants thinking that they will show me how it's done and then are constantly asking me about this, that and the other because they have no idea of what they are doing.
~The same exact neighbors, who keep saying that they are going to buy a new fifth wheel because my husband and I bought one and moved into it in March. These people cannot stand having someone around that has nicer stuff than they do and they will put themselves into bankruptcy to one-up you.
~Oh, h3ll...who am I kidding...the neighbors are a HUGE annoyance to me. I can't stand being around people that are so completely full of BS as they are.

That's it for today. I'm sure there will be more tomorrow. Stay tuned.

 The exact phrasing you have to use to leave them NO loophole is: "PUT me on your do not call list!"

Just a heads up from someone who used to work in phone sales, sometimes, they aren't even using a list. They are using a phone directory and there's no DNC list at all to put you on.

By law they have to put you on their do not call list if the person specifically asks to be put on it! Too many companies bend or break the rules though.
