Thank you for the warm welcome back.
Yes, real life is always busy. I work between 210 and 240 hours each month, and having hashimoto's disease
plus switching back between morning, day and night shifts, I always make sure to get enough sleep, so I can deal with it all.
Very happy to have my laptop back now. It makes playing Yo a lot easier.
Currently at home on sick leave with throat inflammation number 6 this year.
In two days I have an appointment at the hospital to discuss the deails of my tonsilectomy which my doctor suggested.
If I am lucky I may get that done soon. So if I go quiet again, it's because I am in hospital.

Thank you, ladies!
Turns out the waiting time for my surgery is a bit longer, and won't happen until february 27th.

Good that a date is set, remember to shop for all the frozen goodies to help with the throat-had mine out later in age-those things usually come out by age 5 or 6 lol-they have the new ice neck bandages that really help-yep its extremely sore and burns only way to describe it,I was in for 4 days as I got sick from some of the pain meds..after a few more days throat was fine-I had wyyy too many problems with the throat so that's why they decided to remove them-at least know we will know where you are when you go missing from games-we notice when ya aint around and miss ya!

Oh wow. So I am not the only person getting it out in adult age. Has your throat been causing less issues since the surgery?
Each hospital here has slightly different rules and regulations for how they treat you after a tonsilectomy.
The one my otorhinolaryngologist suggested for me has some good specialists specifically for tonsilectomies.
I talked to the chief physician for the hospitals otorhonolaryngologist section and he explained at their hospital the patients stay for 7 days, unless severe issues occur, in which situation they would extend your stay.
They also gave me a rough description of what to expect pain and inconvenience-wise after the surgery.
If it fixes or reduces the issues, I am more than willing to go through it. No fun to end up with throat inflammations very frequently.
Just recovering from another one now.
